Recently discovered that now in China, both Facebook and Youtube are blocked.  Wondering how long before Myspace is deemed a menace to society.  On the TV, Chinese News is broadcasting how very open they are in Xinjiang to the foreign press.  They pat each other on the back for not blocking access of the press to the region like they did in Tibet and even include informercial like testimonials from foreign correspondents.  "They've really been very cooperative," says man from NBC.  "I think this time, they provided us with more information then Tibet!"  says anchor of Japanese Television.

But the reality is that since 2007 the government has become more controlling, trying to unsuccessfully tighten it's fist on social trends.  Along with the increasingly large firewall that tries to control the information going into the public eyes and ears, and the massive clamp down evil "foreigners" through increasingly strong controls on Visa's into the country, China also adapted some bad habit government first intitiated by the U.S. starting with a War a Drugs.

Just like the U.S. during it's drug war heyday, Marajuana and Heroine are suddenly squeezed into the same category, and packaged even with American like 50's era propaganda about the dangers of drug culture.   Occasionally news in papers, online, and even directly distributed on the cellphones throw up an unsubstantiated fact into the public rumor pool. "10,000 school students Heroine addicts in Shenzhen!" A titallating bit of Crime Saga to keep the public distracted from the growing unemployment and bad management of public funds happening throughout the country.  Don't worry, be happy, hate a druggy, and love your country.

Meanwhile "terrorism" and "the threat of public unrest" justify stronger and stronger controls on public activities including internet activities.  While the news praises the new refined behavior of "netizens" they slowly lock down more and more sources of information while a team of pretend fake bloggers send out massive amounts of information on-line trying to start viral rumors across the still accessible blogo-sphere that coincide with current public agenda.

So even through we've proxied just to send this out, we're wondering how long before this little site suddenly disappears off the Map.  Just cause we spoke our minds.

PS --

We added some new demo songs.  Enjoy.
