Incase you didn’t hear, Benji and I recently had an amazing trip to the Central African Republic (CAR). We were able to see first hand how UNICEF delivers clean water to those who are most vulnerable - children. Did you know 4,200 children each day due to lack of access to clean water? It only costs $10 to provide clean water to a kid for a whole year, and $500 to buy a community a well. My brother and I are hoping to raise $10,000 during World Water Week for the Tap Project® and support UNICEF's water and sanitation programs. It would be amazing to be able to go back to the CAR and let them know we raised enough money to provide 20 wells. Support the Tap Project and help us save children’s lives! Donate now at tapproject.org. ( http://www.tapproject.org/donate)

Its so great to be home in maryland. there really is no place like maryland in the summer. Hanging out on the water, eating crabs and shrimp, and just spending time with my friends and family. Think i will for stay a while. LA can wait.

I've NEVER heard of the boutiqe Petit Tresor. WE'VE NEVER been there, and NEVER bought anything from there. Because we dont comment on rumors, i guess some publiscists thought they could get some free much needed help and attention marketing thier store and shitty, cheesy products. On a positive note its been 7 days since i quit smoking and im feeling great. having had one cigarette. i have had my moments, i get a little edgey, but i think the worst is over. anybody else quit yet?

So I finally did it. I quit smoking. Not that any of you are interested in me smoking but i've been smoking for about 3 years now, and i've been talking about quiting for about 2. It wasnt really that hard when i realized how stupid smoking is, and how dagerous it really is. Also how many people it kills a year. or even a day. So i want to apologize to everyone who i've blown my second hand smoke around (that was wrong and inconciderate) and everyone i might have misled or been a bad example to with my deadly habit. I really am sorry and i hope any of you out there that smoke might consider quitting too. here is a link to some facts and stats about smoking. read up on it. i hope it scares you as much as it does me. i've smoked my last one!

So we played Rock Am Ring yesterday. I just want to say thanks to all of our fans that came out to see us, and to everyone at the show for being so cool to us. It is crazy to be in front of 60,000+ people. Seeing that many poeple moving at once is something i will never get used to. Its amazing. Anyways the show was awesome and we all had fun. We played with a bunch of cool German bands I'd never heard of, along with Velvet Revolver and Korn who were both really cool to us. I got to see TRAVIS play, and they have been a favorite band of mine for years so that was cool, and FRAN is always such a cool dude. My favorite part of the night was watching the kooks. It was the best show i've seen in years. I was really blown away and inspired. I've liked this band for a long time, but seeing them play made me a believer. They were flawless and the show was even better than thier recordings. If you can go see them play you should. Being at shows all the time can sometimes Jade you, and make watching bands really boring. I sat thru the whole show and it was over way to fast. I love it. So there you go the kooks. We are now in Hanover, playing tonight then Berlin tommorrow. We have a week left of this 8 week run and its been a good one. I can honestly say the best shows we've ever had in europe. But now its time to go home to america and get to work! We have a tour lining up, and alot of promo scheduled so its gonna busy but fun summer. I honestly just cant wait to get home and hang out with eazy for a few days and get some good mexican food in LA. And coffee bean. anyways i just wanna say thanks to all the GC fans all over the world, at home and abroad for the support and excitement with Good Morning Revival. It means alot to us, and it has made this record the most fun yet. Godbless from the road.

So the record is out and its been a really exciting couple months leading up to this. Weve been around the world twice already with Good Morning Revival and have gotten to meet more fans than we ever have i think. we are really touched at the support you all have shown, and i hope it is worth it for you when you hear this record. we put our hearts, souls, blood, sweat and tears into this one. I hope you enjoy it. We cant wait to play the songs live for you, and really bring this record to life all together you and us. And with a heavy heart im asking all of my friends to pray for Tony. Its hard to enjoy moments like these when one of your brothers is going thru such trying times. We are all praying for him and his family. Im asking you to do the same. God bless and good morning revival. Joel
