We here at Roast are throbbing with ecstacy after hearing what Martin Saz/Mon Electric Bijou has brought to the plate. In comparison to the sparse, folky arrangements of previous outings, Backstabber Blues brings a heavier,  more classic-rock sound to the table. A new mp3, She Scared The Patrons, has just been posted on the front page of the Roast Records website.

Way back on May 12, Junior Bloomsday's "Swans To Greet You" was featured as CBC Radio 3's Track Of The Day.
"This track's got legs!" the head chef was heard to say after receiving the news.

Not one to rest on his fragrant laurels, Junior Bloomsday is hard at work writing the follow-up to last years' "Nervous Habitats".
The new songs are more in the vein of the quieter moments from the last record.

Hey folks, I just put up the new Junior Bloomsday mp3, Swans to Greet You. The Jr. Bloomsday CD digipak will be available from the Roast Records website (www.roastrecords.com) on November 13th, 2007. All direct-from-site orders will come with free Junior Bloomsday swag! Perhaps a poster, stickers, pins, mysterious pills... it could be anything!
