Harthouse Collection (compilation)
Since Daredo Music took over the world famous Harthouse Frankfurt label in 2004 many things have changed. Nowadays some of the primary rocks like Der Dritte Raum, Hardfloor or Spicelab are joining artists of the younger generation like Billy Dalessandro, Boris Brejcha, Phil Kieran, Tigerskin or John Dahlbäck. And even big names like Joey Beltram (who mixed the latest Harthouse mix compilation named “Lost In New York”), Terence Fixmer or Joel Mull spend their creative energy to form the musical content of Harthouse Mannheim. The combination of sophisticated and impulsive artists leads to the eclectic sound profile the cataloque of the labels reflects since 2004. This label compilation features the best and most interesting works of the last five years like remixes of Jesper Dahlbäck (ADJD's “Space For Bass”), Hardfloor (Gui Boratto's “Atol”) and original tracks from Der Dritte Raum, Zoo Brasil, Phil Kieran, Spicelab, Joey Beltram, Tigerskin, Billy Dalessandro, Braincell & Joel Mull. This compilation shows that Harthouse is still on the top in the techno label ranking.

Lost In New York, mixed by Joey Beltram (DJ Mix Series Vol. 1)
After the “Shaking Trees“ release on Harthouse it is time for the first mix compilation by Joey Beltram on Harthouse. The New York born and raised techno global player is an institution in the international producer scene and a legend behind the decks. The founder of STX Records started Djing at the age of 13 in 1983 and released his first records in 1989. Remarkable is the remix of Beyer’s “Swedish Silver” and in general the enormous output this artist showed in his carreer. The list of labels where he released his music is so long, the head becames giddy of reading it. (Tresor, Warp, Visible, Trax, Warp, Logic, X-Sight, Transmat, Permanent, DMC, Moonshine, Bush, KMS – just to give an extract). This mix compilation shows the enormous abilities of the DJ Joey Beltram and surprises with his musical honesty. With tracks from Alex Under, Dustin Zahn (Kyle Geiger Remix), Len Faki, Oliver Huntemann, Timo Garcia & Ken Fan, Paco Osuna, Adam Beyer, Braincell (Grindvik Remix), Brian Sanhaji (Chris Liebing Remix), Jamie McHugh, Kyle Geiger and some of his own productions of course Beltram mixes a DJ set with an immovable and unerring plot, difficult wraps and a lot of technical roughness a DJ set should have. You can hear the working artist by listening to this record, feel the vinyl between your fingertips and smell the fog machine. On this compilation you will not find any intellectual minimalism or artificial electro made out of plastic. On this compilation only the real techno counts, the weightily beats and basses, the chinking high hats and the weird sounds.

Anderson Noise - Shibuya (mp3 EP)
The career of DJ and producer Anderson Noise is one as pioneer of the electronic music scence in Brazil. Native of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Noise started DJ ing in a slow but steady manner as is the custom in his region of Brazil. Yet he never forget to take the necessary steps to insure total success. In 1989, during the explosion of Acid House on the club scene, Noise started playing around the local circuit in his hometown. With the professional passion for DJ ing, hes noted for saying that, the function of a DJ is to emote the audience or bring them to an emotional frenzy. He won the trophy for the best producer and the best DJ of techno music which was called the 'Night Illustrated' award created by Erika Palomino from the newspaper 'A Folha De São Paulo'. The faíscas trophy, an award Noise Won 3 years in a row was offered by the Minas Newspaper, 'O Estado de Minas' for those artists that shook up the nightlife in Belo Horizonte and in 2003 he was runner up in the Cool Magazine Awards, Brazils most elegant electronic music magazine. The trophy was given to him in the subsequent year of 2004, as best DJ. Anderson has always participated in the major national/Brazilian Eletronic Music Events. His presence was felt by all in every edition of the Skol Beats Festival since it's inception, serendipitously closing the 2003 Skol Beats Festival with great fanfare. In 2003 Anderson was invited by 'DJ Magazine', the worlds most respected publication dedicated to electronic music, to produce the CD, 'DJ World Series, Anderson Noise'. In a series of 5 records that the magazine released, where each DJ, representing a different continent would make a record representing his continent of origin, Anderson was chosen to represent Latin America. From then on Noise's international career kept growing steadily. He has participated in the biggest international festivals: Homelands, Dance Valley, Creamfields, Sonar, Exit, Rock in Rio Lisboa, SAMC, Knebworth Ministry of Sound, etc. Noises records have been released by international labels such as Audio, Eukatech, Mentor, Missile and Molecular and are being played throughout the world. As far as Noise is concerned, there exists no limits that can't be surpassed. This is surely a great virtue for those who are of a creative and pioneering nature.

Cave - Antarctica (mp3 EP)
Cave aka Inge Kjeilen, born in Norway, first started DJing in 1998 and has been playing activly in clubs and events since 1999. His music style has over the years developed into banging fast-paced tribal techno, using 3 decks + effects as well as specialized productions only to be used in his dj sets to make the techno experience greater! In 2001 Cave started producing tribal techno tracks following a first release on Ben Sims' label "Ingoma", a sublabel of Theory/Hardgroove. This release, named "Carne Levale EP", turned out to be a huge success throughout the world, with the track "Street Carnival" being played regularly by some of the best DJs within techno, names like Carl Cox, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Ben Sims, Umek, Marco Bailey etc. aswell as more mainstream names like DJ Tiesto, Judge Jules and Mauro Picotto. The releases ended up selling over 30.000 copies worldwide aswell as appearing on over 40 compilations, and was the themetrack for the huge party Innercity 2003 in Amsterdam. Since then Cave has over 40 releases on labels such as Carl Cox' Intec label, Primate, Terminal M, Ingoma, ID&T etc.. Early 2005 the first release on Cave's new label Spilo Records was released with great success. Scan X - Prism (single)
Harthouse is proud to present you the new single of the French primary rock Scan X. Beginning his carreer in 1993 Stéphane Dri released noumerous tracks on noumerous labels since then and created an intellectual style of electronic music combined with pure dancloor power. So be prepared for the next dancefloor smasher from Scan X. Prism: Starting with this licking kicks and the moldy synthesizer purr the prism starts reflecting all the dust and dirt that is hided in the doomed corners of the favourite underground dance machine placed in the basement. And now Stéphane, who also worked together with Laurent Garnier to create the soundtrack of the Cartoon “Globi”, unpacks his secret weapon. The explosive and driveling bassline licks your meninges till every clear thought is digested and transformed to something undefined that will proceed the dancefloor range. Here the experience of years producing for the dancefloor, playing on events like Sonar, I Love Techno, Mayday, Montreux Jazz Festival and spinning in clubs like Liquid Room, The End or Space and working on soundtracks for films of Laurent Merlin (“Papa”/”Step By Step”) is splitted by the prism, Stéphane build in nearly 7 minutes. Prism (Alex Kid Remix): Here the labelmate of Stéphane, who did the big “Mint” Longplayer and is very succesful with the actual album “Caracol” at these days, did this very gushy interpretation of the original “Prism”. He’s taking time to build his strong architecture of his remix. At the beginning of the track you will ask yourself: Where is all the energy gone? But then the kicks and high percussion arrive and make this beatconstruction roll like there is nothing else to do than dropping trees. Alexkid, who is influenced by the likes of Larry Heard, Phil Spector, Carl Craig, Chateau Flight, Scientist, Radiohead, Sleeparchive or Portishead comes around with the bassline after 4 minutes and so maximises its pressure in subjective perception. But don’t forget the other whirring sounds – they will shave your head if you don’t pay attention!

Mikael Jonasson - Noel's Theme (mp3 EP)
Stockholm-based DJ/producer and owner of Koba Records, Mikael Jonasson, has previously dropped his tasty minimal-electro-tech-house treats on labels like Audiomatique, 852 Recordings, Upstruct and Equal etc. Meanwhile, Mikael's own label, Koba Records, has earned support from leading electronic aficionados world wide. Mikael got his interest in music at an early age. After a few years of frenetic banging on the family kitchen ware, his parents didn..t see any way out except to buy him a toy drum-set. When the club scene finally entered Stockholm as a part of the underground movement, Mikael..s interest for the electronic music grew bigger. After a few years of intensive clubbing, Mikael decided to start doing his own music. It all started with an experimental sound, and evolved later into banging house, techno and techhouse. Many productions to be released years later. Today Mikael is a wellknown producer and DJ with steady support from the major DJ..s and radio stations around the globe, and 2008 is gonna be a year of many quality tracks coming out of this man from Stockholm!
