Hey there y'all, Utu here from the troupe. So we have just come back from Cornstalk on the historic and magikal Wisteria property in southern Ohio.  I don't think I can properly describe what we saw there, it is a wonderful place. The community that lives there takes things to another level. There are homes there that are off the grid, they recycle the water through the plant and organism method right back to its source. The amenities are incredible, with a main stage that is stunning. We know that droves of people have been there before but it was our first time there, and the impression they made was top shelf.
Todd and Charlene were very good to us, as was their entire family and community that live there, we will be back several times, and we will be there next year for Summer Solstice for starters, with our full bag of tricks.
There are several highlights to see and experience, but the turtle mound was one thing that blew us all away, standing on that was quite the experience. If you have never been, go!
We saw some of our staple friends and colleges, Kenny and Anna Klein along with Stephanie from Odd's Bodkin, always a pleasure with them, as well as Mambo Madison, Judith and our man Savage. Also a pleasant surprise running into a fellow New Orleans Voodoo Spiritual Temple brother of mine, Marty Labach, who is a professor at a university in West Virginia. He had just completed a study on how the voodoo communities in New Orleans fared after Katrina, something I saw first hand while helping the temple once people were allowed back in the city. Marty is awesome and one of those rare elders that has it all. It was such a wild surprise to see him there, and the rest of the DRD got to meet one of their extended "uncles" *lol*  Marty came up and opened our main stage set with us while we honored Papa Legba, along with our Carolinian wild man "Savage" who reprized his harmonica playing like he did at Sirius Rising for the same opening. Totally awesome.
So a huge cool thing and bonus for us was getting to spend some time with our darlin' Starrfire Price from Paganspace.net. Paganspace was live video streaming many parts of the festival, a first for any fest, and it was a big success. We were honored to host the Paganspace meet and greet live on the internet. Paganspace is celebrating the fact that it is the #1 visited pagan web site on the planet! That is a fact y'all, and that is huge. We got Kenny Klein and Marty Labach to get up with us and share their knowledge, as well as Starrfire to talk about the success of Paganspace. Todd and Charlene talked about the history of Wisteria as well, very cool. And the living legend Owen Phyfe played live at the meet and greet as well, and tore the roof off of Caffina's, where the meet and greet was filmed and held. Owen is quite the talent, and he rocked it..12th century style! Thanks Owen, hope to see you again soon amigo!
Such a huge accolade for Paganspace.net to hit #1 for pagan web sites on the planet, and we cant thank them and Starrfire enough for everything they have done for us and the world wide pagan community at large! Congratulations!!!!...And to our new friend Dusty, thanks for everything Buddy! You took some great photos for us, it was a pleasure to meet you and get to know you. Hope we can see you again some time..watch out for the mud *lol*
So there it is, we have a couple of weeks of down time, finishing of our new CD "Tribal Magik" and getting ready for September. We will be back in Ohio for the Earth Warriors Festival, along with our sweetie and world talent Kellianna, Carlo Hawk Walker, and Raymond Buckland. The Niagara Voodoo Shrine along with the DRD will be doing the main ritual, with the previous mentioned..we are so excited for that!
So things that are coming up...new CD, our first annual U.S. men's circle weekend at Brushwood, a feature in Faerie Magazine, and a plug from our man Kenny Klein in Green Egg Magazine, thanks buddy!!
Check our listings here on myspace for details as they come.
Once again thanks to everyone at Wisteria and Paganspace.net, we love you all for everything you did for us.
Brightest blessings everyone, enjoy that last stretch of summer!!

Hello there lovely myspace friends!!  Utu here,  well its been a while since we have posted anything, not sure we even have the room here to type it all in...First we hope that the summer is doing right by you all and that all the good things in life that are free are keeping  you happy.
I guess Ill just start listing things that are new or coming up...We have recorded a new CD, and it is easily one of the best projects we have ever done. Still mixing it etc., hope to have it available with in a few weeks, obviously we will let you know when its available..but we can tell what it called.."Tribal Magik"
On the subject of CDs, we will no longer be selling Volume 2 or Passage, those are going into the annals with Volume 1...there are some supplies left, but past that, they will be no more...we will however still sell The Epic; A Drum Opera.
We just finished two weeks of travel and magik, starting with The Spirits of the Earth Festival here in Ontario, we had a lot of fun there( even though our show sucked..it happens *lol*). The highlight being we brought a friend of ours, no other than Prince Bamidele Bajowa from Nigeria. We serve many gods and spirits in this troupe, but lately the Orisha and Loa nation of spirits has been really shining down on us. It was the divine hands of the Orishas that brought Prince Bamidele and the DRD together, with a little bit of bleed from the Niagara Voodoo Shrine, but together none the less. And for a great purpose too. Go to the Niagara Voodoo Shrine (in our top friends) and read the blog there for more on our plans together. Our time with Prince Bamidele has been very cherished, and we are truly blessed to be working together. The DRD, myself from the Voodoo Shrine and Prince Bamidele offered a wonderful ceremony at Spirits of the Earth, all the pics of that are in our photos, so please check them out and enjoy, it was very inspiring. The ceremony honored both the North American voodoo traditions as well as the traditional Yoruba of which Prince Bamidele is royalty. It is in Yoruba land Nigeria that the gods and goddesses  of voodoo once walked the earth, and their original shrines still exist.  It was amazing, and there will be many more to come from our two camps. Keep your eyes on our site or the Voodoo Shrine for details as they come.
Big thanks to Fox and Tamika of Spirits of the Earth for once again hosting not only our troupe, but Prince Bamidele as well. We had  quite a table during the mid evil feast they have there each year...again check the pics. Thanks again Fox and Tamika, you and your staff were wonderful as always.
Nice treat was that our good friends The Gypsy Nomads were at Spirits of the Earth as well...I wonder how that happened..*lol*  they rocked as always, and they will be back in Canada again. The Nomads in fact came to rest up in Niagara for a couple of days after the fest, we had such a great time, a little hard earned R&R.  Then we were both off to Sirius Rising, no rest for the wicked...we love them so much, it was a special two days..
Sirius Rising..wow, where to begin...Well, the festival has now adopted the dragon as their festival totem, and not just any dragon..the one we here in the DRD know so well. The water serpent from which we take our name has many guises, he appears in the mist of Niagara Falls, appears as a water monster in both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, as a mascot for sports teams and a golf course, and now as the dragon of Sirius Rising. The wonderful Teresa Guzman whose family owns Brushwood had told us that last year, so we knew it was coming, but it was still so surreal to experience.  The dragon we have been honoring since before the DRD even started in the Niagara Pagan Mens Circle, right there being honored on a scale that was hard for us to put into perspective. The Brushwood property sits on the hills just above Lake Erie, and Teresa had said that after listening to and reading our CD "The Epic; A Drum Opera" that it really hit home that what they were feeling all the time on their property was an actual local entity.  When we came home across the Niagara River it hit us like a ton of bricks, thats once again the kind of manifestation that keeps this troupe religious.
We have to thank Teresa and all the staff at Brushwood for out of this world hospitality and inclusion. We also want to thank the Dalton camp for once again feeding us and giving us shelter when it was needed. A big thanks to the incredible sound crew of Bob and Roofy, they really made us sound awesome! Also our lovely Midnight, always a pleasure! The other bonus about Sirius Rising was meeting up with our beloved Mambo Madison and her entire temple "Humfort De La Flameballah Wedo"...thats voodoo for The house of the fire serpent *lol* ...Together we did a ritual, a parade for the spirits with the sacred dolls of the Orishas and Loa, which they brought all the way from North Carolina, and they were even brought to the concert we did, where we dedicated the show to the Orishas for all their blessings..as well as the dragon. After sucking big  at Spirits, we made up for it big f#*kin' time at Sirius, helps with all those sacred dolls and our dragon everywhere...that and an awesome sound crew and our man Davor, who has been with us many times this year, putting together an incredible light show too.  To spend time with the entire temple was amazing, and pretty rare for all to be there at the same time. We will see Mambo Madison again in a week, which brings me to the next point...Cornstalk..
We will be at Cornstalk at the historic Wisteria property in extreme southern Ohio..how south?..we have to go through west Virgina to get there.  Check our show listings, we expect a lot of folks we know to be there, in fact Cornstalk is looking to turn into the event of the summer based on who is coming and the sheer amounts, we cant wait. While there, we will actually be hosting a live streaming video show for Paganspace.net, the concerts will be broadcast as well, so tune into paganspace.net if you want to see some antics, and we promise antics, and some serious stuff too.

Last thing...a reminder that we are hosting a mens circle weekend at the Brushwood property, home of Sirius Rising and Starwood on the weekend of September 18 to 20th, looking to be historic in more ways than one, check our show listings for more details or email us. You wont want to miss this.
Thats all for now, or at least all I can type...we love you very much, we hope you are enjoying summer, and we hope even more that we see you somewhere soon...oh yah, "Faerie Magazine" is doing a feature on us..pretty cool! should be in the next issue, will let you know when...much love and the biggest brightest blessings from everyone here at the Dragon Ritual Drummers!!

Hello there friends and family, Utu here. We have sort of stopped with the play by plays of our tips lately, but this one deserved some attention for sure..where to start...
First off, we have to thank the staff at the Pennsylvania Fairy Festival for bringing us back, it was again an event to remember. We got to know the owner of the land this time, Bob, he was more than generous in helping with our needs, thanks so much for everything Bob, your land is truly magikal.
Fairies fairies everywhere...It was great to see familiar faces and wings again, and meet new ones. The whole gang of PA fairies "from the top of the hill"...what a great bunch you all are, our muses for sure for the weekend, thanks for your energy exchange, it makes a huge difference.
Once again Mulina and Emerson, our friends from the Mill, displayed generosity and hospitality the likes we have never seen. All their tribe including Rene, Sue and Harold showed us and many more what perfect love and trust is all about. Our gratitude can never be fully expressed, you are amazing people and we love you all dearly.
The Mill was the place for sure. A night of food and revelry, safety and love was in abundance for a night they put on which was surreal at best. They hosted our entire troupe, Kellianna, Wendy Rule, The Gypsy Nomads and Incus at their magikal home for a night to remember. What a night it was. Impossible to describe. Mulina, Emerson and Sue were the main reason we were in PA again, as well as the rest of the line up, so to you all we thank you from the bottom of our hearts...See you in July..Yay!..we wont mention the kilts..and to our buddy Taz, thanks for coming out, will see you soon we hope..
There was magik afoot this year. The weather was all over the place. during our first set the rain spirits were blessing us for sure, towards the end of the show we felt like those of us that had synthetic drum heads should join the melee of rain dancers who were there in droves, with in a few minutes the rain spirits were placated and the sun god came to show his favor..what a moment, everyone yelling Bamboula to the rain, and then the sun comes blasting out, we will never forget that.
For us the performance we did at the Frodo stage on Saturday was the one, that sound man was the bomb! and once again the dancers were so enticing we had to come down and join in, very cool.
There was just so much, too much..The Gypsy Nomads were the party on Friday night, they played at the Glen Rock Inn, everyone was there, wild night, they kicked ass as usual. Yours truly got to go and play the djembe with them during a song, always a great time. For that night we were also with our good friend Starrfire Price and a new friend Sabrina the Ink Witch, the whole Mill gang, complete take over. And again great music by the Gypsy Nomads..see you in July too..Yay!!
We made a great connection with the staff of Faerie Magazine, we even kidnapped one of them to bring to the Mill, Heather was a very trusting woman to come with us and she was great. All their staff are wonderful, we will have more on that connection later..
So to everyone who shared with us, supported us in buying our CDs, shirts etc., we thank you so much. The dancers and beautiful people that came and spent time with us, many thanks.  And again to the Mulina and Emerson, for sharing your home and love with us all..Kubiando!!..and much love!
Brightest blessings everyone, till next time big astral hugs and kisses..xoxoxoxo

Hello there myspace friends, Utu here from the troupe. We are back from beautiful New England, and we must say that it never ceases to amaze us the kind of wonderful hospitality,  love and trust that is out there in our pagan communities.
So, first off...we advertised that we would be twittering the entire trip as often as we could for a fun glimpse into the chaos that is our caravan. It started out with good intentions, and we really did try, but the signals are non-existent at times in the locations we drive through, and let me tell you, it is hard to twitter all the time *lol*. But again, the Appalachians don't have the best signal to link up to, and when it was available towards our first stop, we were in some hairy weather, torrential rain, low visibility and all going down hill through the mountains, not fun..  We kept it up best we could, but by certain times of the day and night, the magik simply took over, which was interesting to see. Between two shows in two nights in two states, plus a main ritual at one of them, family and friends to see..well it was just impossible by late Saturday. But it was fun, and people were reading the updates, adding to them, all in all a fun experiment as we had hoped. Thanks to everyone who came along.
So our first stop and big thanks goes out to our new good friends of the beautiful Awen Tree shop in Easthampton Massachusetts, Melissa and Winifred, two incredible woman. Their store and community is something else, its pretty much home base for world renowned Kellianna, who met us there and came along for the rest of the weekend to Connecticut, so it's a good crowd who know how to have fun, and their generosity was incredible, we can't thank  everyone enough who came to the show at the Awen Tree, you were all great. Our only regret was we could not stay longer...well that and the police showing up with five minutes to go to shut down the show, right during Bamboula even..as the officer walked away, and knowing we had five minutes to go, when everyone yelled out another big Bamboula, he turned and looked back, but it was all good, he gave us flashing light show for a while *lol*..But it was a great show, Kellianna of course came up and played a couple of songs as well, it was literally wall to wall in there, good times!  Thanks so much to Melissa and Winifred for the out of this world hospitality, first time meeting and it was like family as we left. You have to be inspired by that, we were. Thanks Easthampton!!
That would be enough for most groups for one day..but we had places to go..On to Connecticut from there, Kellianna in tow behind us, the caravan moves on. Arriving at our home away from home in CT was great, our sister and organizer of the Pagan Spring Fling Cori, had managed to acquire a vacant condo for us for the weekend..moving on up! What a set of digs this was! Right at the top of a hill that was forested, basically your nice CT neighborhood...till the pagan caravan arrived *lol*  big Gaga rumbling and all..Amazing hospitality again, Cori out-did herself for this one. Last year we stayed at Liz Guerra's house, which was amazing, this location was little closer and made the whole trip that much easier..plus Liz's house insurance would not cover that again..tee hee..Lots of twitter time at the condo, the place was empty when we got there, it took less than an hour and it was every room filled, outrageous. We had our good friend Jaxx show up the next day to cook us breakfast and take us to the beach again for some new photos, which was awesome.. A different beach this time, and all ours...once we unfurled the DRD flag, the tropical pagan pirates had taken over! Thanks so much Jaxx, your generosity and good eye was much appreciated, thanks darlin'!
The Pagan Spring Fling was once again an amazing event, two of our good friends who we had not seen the previous times in CT were there, Frank and Kate Dalton, two of the nicest people you could ever know. I see them in the summer, and they have been beyond generous to the New Orleans Voodoo Spiritual Temple, the Niagara Voodoo Shrine and the DRD over the years, it was so good to finally see them in their home state, and mama Kate loved the possum piss!
The Spring Fling is awesome, the main ritual this year was the ever growing movement of the Warriors of the Earth, thanks to everyone who took the paint. I think the DRD are going to be given the green jackets for closers for the amount of times we have helped in the cause this year, we love it and its important too. So thanks to everyone at the CWPN for their trust and vows, our community and earth is better for it. We of course have to thank our CT kitchen witch mamas Laura and Mary, who once again sent us home with enough food for a week, for real. We are still eating it, how cool is that. The gift that keeps on giving. Thanks so much, we love you both.
The show at the Spring Fling was great, Kellianna once again sharing her talents on stage and during the ritual, gotta love  Kellianna, it takes a special kind of lady to travel and live with us for a weekend, and keep up as well. Totally love her, we all do. So glad you could make it sweetie!!  See you in a month.
So, to everyone who came out and supported the shows, all the people that worked hard to make them happen, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, to come out and support events in trying times is hard, and we thank you all for doing it. And we have to thank beyond what words can express, our lovely Cori. To put on an event like that for your community, to get us all the way out there, taking care of us in every way, well all we can say is we love you so much. We will see Cori up here in less than a month, so we will take care of you good and proper! Thanks so much for everything.
We say it all the time, CT gets harder to leave every time.
We will be in Rochester in a couple and a half weeks, and then off to the Fairie Festival in Pennsylvania a week after that. That will be something. Us, Kellianna, Wendy Rule, The Gypsy Nomads and Incus, all together for the weekend..holy crap that should be wild!
Brightest blessings everyone, we hope for the best for all our friends and family in these times, may the gods, spirits and ancestors guide us all through the turbulent waters.
xoxoxo

Greetings, well the world news has picked up the story of another suicide attempt at Niagara. This is the second person with in 5 yrs to jump into the water, right where we make our offerings and placate the dragon spirit of Niagara Falls. Another man on the U.S side a few yrs ago too tried to jump in..only to manage to secure himself and stand right at the brink, looking over for 45 min. till a a helicopter came and rescued him.
Whats ironic about  this is each time someone has tried to take their lives at a guaranteed death, is just shortly after we have made an extensive offering to the dragon of Niagara: Heenun. For close to 14 yrs now we have been involved in awakening and honoring his spirit, his consort is the Native spirit known as the Maid of the Mist.  For decades, even with preparation, stunts have gone wrong and lives were taken. But giving these spirits proper offerings and love has seemed to break their appetite of humans, which was  the offerings sent over the falls hundreds of years ago.
Three attempts at death, all with in 5 yrs, all with in days of offerings to their lair, and all spared! Coincidence? maybe the first one..by the second you start seeing the big picture..The third one now?..well thats what keeps this group religious!
Hail to the dragon and his consort, for they have spared another life in miracle fashion, and in fact transformed and healed their souls.
Had to share folks, its pretty wild!
Brightest blessings!

Brightest blessings everyone!  This is Utu from the troupe.  We wanted to say that we hope you all have a fantastic holiday season, however you celebrate them..For us pagans its all about the Solstice eve, when we stay close to those we love and and wait for the sun to rise after the longest night of the year, bringing new hope and manifestation to the coming season. At a time when the entire planet is experiencing financial woes, now more than ever, the true meaning of friends and family becomes that much more sacred..enjoy beautiful people!

So we here have been enjoying a little bit of a break..kind of. Getting out to see friends in our area, visiting various magikal and pagan communities, catching up with family etc.. Booking shows for next year, we have some really good ones coming up, keep your eyes on our show listings as time goes on, maybe we are coming to your town..we are actually already taking requests for 2010! Kind of crazy, but it means the world to us that wonderful communites and festivals want to share in our unique down home family pagan fun and heathenry. Some of the requests are from far off and exotic locations, we hope to be able to make it happen. Thanks to everyone who has been contacting us, we really appreciate it more than words can say.

So..we are also pleased to announce that we have a new CD coming out, this is our first live CD, and was a bit unexpected. We have of course been playing all over, at awesome and unique events, and we at times are recording shows in our own unique way, to have good sound for the video files of these shows for our DVD..coming soon..we know we have been saying that for a while, but it really takes time to decide how to present this very different project. Do we go with the respectable shows and scenery?..Or the "pagans gone wild" with footage of things clearly never seen on a DVD before *lol*  ..anyway I digress..Our new CD.. It's live and raw with performances from a series of shows from around the North East of the Continent, all from outdoor pagan festivals with some wild crowds ( Is there any other kind at fest?).  At the end of the season we handed over the files to a friend and awesome talent, Brian MacPhee (Who designed our DRD logo and tattoo that all DRD members sport in various places). We soon realized that these files, plus ones folks come up to us after shows, and tell us they recorded and give to us, made for an intresting listen.  As we are now working on our new studio CD this winter, and hope to have out by late winter, we had to release some of this material for friends and fans, we hope you all enjoy it.

The CD is called; Dragon Ritual Drummers Live: Odin's Booty...Why Odin's Booty? Glad you asked!  About a year and a half ago while we were at a mens circle winter camp weekend, we asked Odin, the Norse God of thunder and magik, and much more, to bless our upcoming U.S. tour with prosperity, magik, and a safe ship to pillage from while we went viking through the good ol' U.S.A. *lol*  He provided and then some! So this is our thank you to him, a CD in his honor with the manifestation of his blessings for all to hear. It will be available in January 2009, and we of course will be honoring tradition and having a CD release party to celebrate its birth. Check out our show listings for details in case you are close enough to attend, it will be a memorable night no doubt, hope to see you there.

Also..for all the stores that have been contacting us for CDs, and the ones that  have been dealing with us in our old independant way, it just got way easier. For anywhere on planet Earth, specializing in the U.S. market, you can get our CDs whoesale and direct from within the U.S. sent to you nice and quick from our new partner in arms  http://www.labyrinthhouse.com  Getting our music to stores outside of Canada has been a bit problematic at times, problem solved, big time!

So that's what's new in DRD land, plenty more news to share, but another time..For now we send our love and blessings to all our myspace friends and families. Have a safe and happy holiday everyone, let loose and celebrate that which does not cost a thing, and is priceless..Your friends, family, and the Gods!

Brightest blessings from everyone in the Dragon Ritual Drummers and friends!       xoxoxo......xxx

Hello there MySpace friends!!  Utu here from the troupe. Well America, you certainly gave the world quite a show last night, very inspiring!

So we are back from Salem, the beautiful Witch city, our lover on the coast. Once again Salem proves to be a living entity that breathes magik. If you are good to her, she gives back. We were in Salem last year for The Official Salem Witches Ball, and our U.S. CD release party. Was more than chaotic, we had a pretty big entourage, videographer/photographer etc,, took no less than four to five vehicles for us all to get around. But this year it was very different. Skeleton crew and we were stationed right downtown with our host Christian Day, the main man of Salem. it was very gracious of him to open up his home to a bunch of rowdy northmen, and we can't thank him enough.(Last years hosts Autumn and Brecialks's property value soared with the news we were not staying there this year *lol*) Christian  was quite the provider. His home, his event and his shop 'Hex' were very good to us. All his staff were very generous. We got to know Christian much more this year, he is a kindred spirit in many ways..And he's actually a sweet guy..Just dont tell anyone *lol*  Thanks for everything Christian, hail to the Queen baby!

Christian's place was right downtown which made our Halloween weekend so much more rewarding and relaxed. We were not there for Halloween last year, and let me tell you, what a party that is! We saw so much. We did a promo performance right outside the Hawthorne Hotel where the Witches Ball was the next night. So many wild costumes, and some amazing dancers. Lots of the  'You just got served' style of dancing, but impressive none the less. Drumming outside on Halloween night in downtown Salem is something we will never forget. It would not have been possible without the help and support of one of Salems finest, Det. LT. J. Prosniewski. What a great sport he is. When he put us up against the police wagon the next day, he was gentle *lol*  Dont worry, the new Salem Deputees, 'The Pagan Posse' won't be too tyranical when we return..

First night there we met up with a special Lady, Starrfire Price. She has been so good to us this year, she is the one behind PaganSpace.net, an author, priestess and all around amazing contributor to the pagan movement on a global scale. This was our first meeting in person and it was love at first sight. Nothing like  a bunch of vikings fawning over a woman, kept us honest. With all our new powers as deputees, we needed some grounding. She took many of the pictures in our album, and must be one hell of an understanding woman. We entered into some business together, and this trip was equally as much about our camps meeting as anything. She was with us most of the time..and what do you know, she still likes us. One of the nicest and impressive woman you can know. It was a wonderful meeting and felt like we had known each other for eons. Thanks for everyhting Starrfire, we love ya bunches!

This years Witches Ball was much different, and in a good way. Big stage downstairs, and a little one Christian had built for us upstairs for a more intimate set. All done up in the Mexican Day of the Dead motif, was beautiful. That was a great time up there, to everyone who came to share and buy CDs, we are so grateful. We got to see some of our east coast friends and met many more. Everyone we met were so nice, the Witches Ball attracts a good crowd. Again, thank you to everyone for the support and kind words.

We got to hang with our sister Wendy Rule, who also performed at the ball. We are blessed to be able to play and meet up with her as much as we have this year, its been inspiring to say the least.

The whole trip was one of the more colorful ones we have experienced. The Witches Ball is a red carpet of pagans, magicians, witches, and from all over the world. There were many worlds colliding and many folks that help the wheel turn meeting for the first time. It was a very monumental weekend for many more than just us, and it was awesome to be able to drink it all in. Meeting Lady Thalestris and members of her coven, Wiccans of the Crossroads from Brooklyn..iye caramba! Great crew and once again the northmen were speechless..Holy moly, that's all I can say *lol*

We will be back to Salem sooner than later this year, she has a way of seducing you, and we are hooked! Again to everyone who we met this year, thank you for inspiring us, and to Christian Day, it was a pleasure..Drago misses you, he keeps speaking in Italian about you, we are not sure what he is saying but I think its good *lol* Thanks buddy, we really appreciated the journey.

We are off to the Enchanted Mountain Goddess Conference in New York this weekend, its a good thing...we need to cleanse ourselves of all the heathenry. Looking forward to seeing some of you there. We are also looking forward to meeting up with another great performer, friend and beloved witch, Kellianna. Her musical talent is a pleasure to the ears.  We will of course post some pics and gossip *lol* after that we take a bit of a break but will share some exciting news form our camp, good things going on!

Be well everyone, the Samhain tide is still in full effect, enjoy! Brightest blessings

Greeting myspace pagans and friends, Utu here from the troupe. Well we must say the Earth Warriors Festival (EWF) was everyhting we thought it would be and then some.  From day one when Heather contacted us about the event, it was meant to be a fest that had workings, presenters and guests not common to the rest, and we would say that it was nailed! We had an amazing time sharing and learning like no other.

First off, to Heather, you and your staff should be very proud. The level and detail that you all went to make your guests happy was above and beyond anything we have experienced yet, and that says a lot. We do these things quite often in a year, and for the most part they are all good, but you heard Wendy Rule say that all your presenters felt that your hospitality was on another level altogether. I dont want to give away all the details, but rest assured, we were blown away by the generosity and detail on every level..Okay maybe getting limoed around in golf carts had something to do with it..But seriously, above and beyond! At a time when most fests are very similar in formula, and thats not a bad thing, EWF was so outside the box that it was so refreshing, and for that leap of courage you took..Kudos big time!  Your trust in us for our part is something we wont forget, thanks so much.

To the entire festival that particpated in the main ritual, we thank you all for joining and making your vows, it was a beautiful sight and very inspiring to say the least. How could it not be, that many beautiful pagans on the same plane, well it validates our reasons for being part of the Warriors of the Earth. We have done a few of those ceremonies in our time for our part, but this one was something special. Never mind EWF letting it be the main ritual, but they are rarley attended by so many wonderful elders and internationl pagans. We thank every one who helped, some with little notice, and all came through big time. Very competent pagans there. To Wendy Rule, we had both decided to this a while back, but it was still a great experience, and we thank you for your help and guidence..See you in Salem in a few weeks..To Fox from Sprits of the Earth festival, you have been part of the ceremony before, but we thank you for the drum during the working, it always adds a lot. Also to Carlo Hawk Walker, Wow! I knew he was going to be there, and was hoping he would participate, but never thought it would be anything like that. Carlo is exactly the kind of person we want to be aware of the Warriors of the Earth, he is not the first of his tradition, but this was something different. For those that did not know, that was Sitting Bull's pipe that he used in the ritual, how special is that?  For all his words and support we thank him from the bottom of our hearts.

It was great to see so many of our friends we have made along the way in our travels, many whom we have stayed with even. To the Canadian contingent from Spirits of the Earth Festival, thanks for coming and representing another festival that is new in its direction. To the large group from Pennsylvania, Mulina, Emerson, Harold, Sue and friends from the Mill, we appreciate you coming and supporting the historic event. And to Mulina and Harold, we thank you for your part in the ritual as well. To our friends we met in Salem, it was great to see you all, looking forward to the nest time. And to our Mambo Madison, her group from North Carolina represented well, it was so good to see you again. She also was so generous to us as always, dare we say spoiled..

We really enjoyed meeting M.R. Sellars and Dorthy Morrison. Great authors and real breath of fresh air! Its nice to see we are not the only ones asked to sign body parts *lol*  Looking forward to our paths crossing once again.

We were so busy being involved in the fest as opposed to observing it, that we forgot to take very many pictures, so we have to thank Mark Griffin Studios and Robin Kissmeknickers for sending us some pics, we really appreciate it a lot.

So we hope you all remeber the ritual, now that you have participated, you can now share it with your community, thats how it grows. If you need a refresher, send a message to the email address we mentioned, and someone will send something to you. We all need to fill open rits at our local communites, this is a good one and an important one too.  And once again, to Carlo Hawk Walker, your post ritual guidance, advice and support, we thank you so much brother. As Heather said..You were off the chart awesome!

EWF, we will never forget this weekend, to everyone who helped, thanks, and we hope to see you again. Good times, great people! Brightest blessings to you all!
