Hallo zusammen,

wir suchen (mal wieder...) einen neuen Bassisten für unsere Disko-Metal-Band Captain Zorx. Unser derzeitiger Mr. Green hat im Rahmen seiner bürgerlichen Zweitidentität mehr zu tun, als ihm lieb ist, und hat deshalb beschlossen, den Viersaiter wieder ruhen zu lassen.


Captain Zorx ist inzwischen ein ziemlich umfangreiches Universum aus 
Figuren und Legenden und macht einen genre-mixenden Bastard-Sound. Da 
steht Ska neben Bossa Nova, Country neben Metal, 70s-Disco neben 
HipHop, Gospel neben Grindcore. Vorgetragen wird das durch fulminate 
Rockshows und feine Akustikgigs, es wurden Live-Hörspiele im Radio und 
Handpuppenmusicals in der dafür gebauten Bühne dargeboten.

Zur Release der ersten Platte gab es eine Pulpnovel im Bastei-Lübbe-
Format "Die tolldreisten Abenteuer von Captain Zorx - Die Rückkehr von 
Baron van Lendenruh" was mit einem atemberaubenden Cliffhanger endete. 
Die Fortsetzung dieser Geschichte findet auf unserer neuen CD "Maps of 
the Ancient Seakings" Song für Song statt.

Wir suchen also einen neuen Bassisten. Dem sollte es Spaß machen, eine 
Vielzahl von Musikstilen zu spielen, Backings zu singen (wir singen 
alle), Konzerte zu rocken und sich mit uns nebenbei so was wie ein 
Handpuppenmusical aus dem Ärmel zu schütteln. Er sollte also nicht nur was vom Bass-Spielen verstehen, sondern auch etwas Bühnenroutine und Lust auf Show haben.

On this friday, 13th we uploaded part two of the glorious reading from the adventures of our beloved Captain (hooray!). Unfortunately, still no brave and coldblooded translater has been found to translate the Captain's words of wisdom, so the whole stuff is still in german. But don't worry, friends and followers! We're pretty close to buying a dictionary and then - zoooom! Off we go! We promise!
