The single Strong Where You Belong will hit the Danish airwaves on Monday. It is a foretaste of the surprises you can expect from The Overmuch Box. Strong Where You Belong was recorded in 1999 in the Swedish Tambourine Studio, in connection with the recording of the album Everything Glows.

The Overmuch Box contains – besides a CD with never previously released tracks and b-sides and a 160-page book about the band – remastered versions of the bands ten albums. All albums have been remastered by Chris Athens, who has previously mastered albums such as Coldplay's X & Y, N*E*R*D's Fly Or Die and Kelis's Tasty. Athens has also worked with remastering music of world artists like Ozzy Osbourne and Johnny Cash.

Release date for The Overmuch Box is November 16th. There are not many copies left, but if you hurry you can still pre-order the Deluxe Limited Edition from the Webshop!

On Saturday January 24th D-A-D will play a charity concert at NASA in Reykjavik. The band and crew will work for free and the profit from this concert will go to Icelanders, who are in trouble because of the economic crisis. The band has many fans in Iceland and they are moved by the situation many Icelanders are in. They decided to help and wanted to give a taste of the upcoming tour. This tour will bring D-A-D to the big concert halls in Denmark, Germany and Sweden during February to April.

The charity concert is presented by "Because We Care" and Iceland Express.

Danish number 1 rock band D-A-D releases "Monster Philosophy" in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via 3R Entertainment

3R is very proud to welcome Denmarks 1 rock band in their artist roster and announce the release date of their album "Monster Philosophy". The album will be in stores from November 21th on and contains one exclusive bonus track (House Of Fun).

That the band is still around in 2008 is a proof for their ongoing will to cross genre borders and present their own definition of what we call - to make it short and simple - rock. Now D-A-D are back with their 10th studio album "Monster Philosophy" on which the fourpiece collects 14 songs (including the bonus track House of Fun) between "straight forward rocker" ("Revolution", "Beautiful Together", "Nightmares In The Daytime") and "lean back material" ("I am the river", "Milk and Honey"). But it wouldn..t be a D-A-D record if there weren..t tunes that make the band that unique. "Nightstalker", "Money Always Takes The Place Of Life" or the title track "Monster Philosophy" are both never heard before and typical D-A-D songs. As usual, there is so much to discover in between, that it..s nearly impossible to sum the whole album up in one sentence. Anyway, we should give it a try:
"Monster Philosophy unites in 14 songs what D-A-D stood for over the last 25 years." Maybe that..s the way to speak about the album.

MONSTER PHILOSOPHY LIVE '09
JACOB BINZER – STIG PEDERSEN – LAUST SONNE - JESPER BINZER

D-A-D goes on first indoor tour in 3 years
Pre-sale begins SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4

It would be unsuitable to name D-A-D Denmark's national rock band. Such a title is too dry, boring and pompous. But what can we then call them in stead? For it is difficult to list any other Danish rock bands who with almost 25 years' experience under their belt can go on a tour in Denmark in big sport centers and arenas; who can still put together a set list consisting of a continuous increase of new tunes and sing-a-long enticing rock classics; and who has a reputation for out-doing themselves again and again in a demonstration of unfailing live energy and visual abundance. Maybe we should simply stick to calling them – D-A-D.

There is – after all – only one D-A-D. In a few months D-A-D will travel around Denmark on a tour named "Monster Philosophy '09", beginning in Forum Horsens on January 30, 2009 and ending in Forum, Copenhagen, on March 7.

At the Danish Grøn Koncert 2008 tour the audience experienced a D-A-D in top form, who received lots of praise when critics passed judgment on the tour. Already at that point in time – the summer 2008 – D-A-D revealed a couple of new tunes. On November 10, D-A-D will release their 10th studio album, "Monster Philosophy", and the set list for the following "Monster Philosophy"-tour will include a luscious selection of songs from the new album, which with usual respect for the audience and their own catalog of songs will be intertwined with a wide selection of D-A-D classics.
Tickets go on sale from Saturday, October 4 – see list of concerts for official ticket dealers.
