LA Gay Pride '09 was fabulous -- i got to check in with the gays, flirt with lots of CUTE BOYS, and see how folks are feeling about Obama, Prop 8 and these hard political times for queer peeps.

and my new IDOL Fantasia Barrino was on hand to really lift everybody's spirits, and i had a cute little moment with her after her show! what a powerhouse! i had no idea - wow wow wow wow. there's some concert footage in the vid so you'll see what i mean. here it is!

the club only gave me 20 minutes to shoot, so i really packed it in, as it were -- watch as i zip through the party, running into the legendary Ann Magnuson, Robbie D., cute punk boy band Abe Vigoda, Aimee Phillips, my dear friend Joon from my NYC club days (seen in the pic above) and many more! and OF COURSE, just when i step away from the camera, the fabulous Lady Tigra of L'Trimm fame ("we like the cars, the cars that go boom") walked by with Aziz Ansari from NBC's "Parks and Recreation" -- but it all worked out, cuz they interviewed each other in my absence!

in this episode, i go to the opening night party for the WOW Storefront Gallery's cartoon-themed "Name That 'Toon" show, and i rub elbows with those freaky fabulous Hollywood Blvd. superheroes, (Superman! Supergirl! Catwoman! Captain America! all the A-Listers!), and the cute, sexy and totally brilliant WOW artists being featured in the show. and i LOVE the major dramz that goes down when i run into my dear friend and WOWlebrity Daniel Franzese (from the "Party Monster" movie!), whom i had a bit of a mishap with recently, involving an accidental "cc" in an email....

at the Nerdcore calendar release party, James St. James learns that nerds really do have more fun, as he flirts with scores of cute n' sexy nerd boys and girls!

James and Thairin go to NBC's "secret show" for Shiny Toy Guns and their hot new animated music video "Ghost Town," currently in constant rotation on NBC. At the show, James hangs out with the video's director - his dear friend and animator extraordinaire Glen Hanson. He also runs into LA Weekly's "Nightranger" columnist Lina Lecaro, who joins him and Thairin as they slip backstage to meet the band. Hilarity and hijinks ensue, and James makes a discovery that links him to the band's singer Chad Petree and keyboardist/bassist Jeremy Dawson via the Limelight days in NYC. James also chats with performance artist Krys Fox, flirts with countless boys and girls, and does vocal exercizes with the band's singer Sisely Treasure - all before Shiny Toy Guns take to the stage for an amazing show.
