Hey you!

We are very excited to say that we are working hard to bring you new music! But before we can do that, we have some stuff we have to take care of financially.

So on that note, help SYW bring you new music! We have set up an account with Feed The Muse to where you guys can purchase autographed merchandise and combined packages! Or if you just have a big heart for what we are doing, then you can donate!

Just click the link below to get started!

We love you all and are so thankful for all of you that support us. Hope to see you guys soon!

Much Love <3

So..

We have changed and turned. :)

For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, you can see that the line-up has changed a few times in the past 2-3  years.

Say You Will is a name. Handed down. a bloodline. :)

Normally we're not a 3-piece type of band. We've been playing Electronic shows, which is legit and fun for us either way. (maybe some video soon.)

But we don't plan to stay that way..

So everyone who is interested, put the word out that We are looking for new members!
Mainly what we're searching for right now is bass players and guitar players.
So even if you don't play anything, tell all your friends, if you don't mind! :)

Until then, We will continue to play shows the way we are. We've had great feedback from it, so hopefully you'll catch us sometime playing these type of shows, much different from our normal routine. :)

We hope all of you are doing well! Hope to see you all soon! Thanks for staying with us through all the commotion.

God bless!

So,

We just got back in town from  our ever long and tedious March/April Tour with 'Nineball'. Even though it was a tough fought tour we had so much fun. We met a ton of cool new kids, got to play places we've never seen before, and of course make some awesomely strong friendships!!! It seems like every time we go on tour we extend our family a little bit deeper. We meet people that we can rely on for the rest of our lives like brothers and sisters. It's really amazing.

We've also learned on this tour how tough things can really get! Canceled shows, vans breaking down, money holes, blah!!!! We've really got to see a different side of being in a band, and recently just realizing how dark the world really can be. I feel like there are a lot of people out there searching and hurting. There are a lot of people in places of power making wrong decisions all over the world, and people are starting to forget their morals.

I've never really stopped to look at that whole side of things until recently. It just seems like things are getting worse on ever avenue (crime, economy, politics, etc). Last night I was watching the news (I know it's lame, but I watch it more and more these days haha) and I was really feeling low about how the world was starting to turn. Then I thought of our record name 'Brighter'.

I realized then that, that word is exactly what 'Say You Will' is all about. We choose not to participate in the sludgy downward spiral that the world is going into, or try our best not to. To kind of shed a little light in the places that have the least hope. Hopefully it's up lifting and pulling people out of the dirt. That's our prayer for our music.

Our prayer for you is if you're at the bottom to remember there always hope in in the dark places. Sometimes it's less about the dark place and more about your attitude. Sometimes you can be your own beacon, and even if you can't there is someone bigger than us that is working all things together for a purpose. Trusting, we've left our stoop of comfort, and no matter what blows we or the world takes, we know there is light in the dark places, hopefully we'll carry it to a few of those places.

Just thought I'd post the lyrics on here....

See What I See

All the while I'm keepin my smile
cause I know all of the signs that you get.
and all the mystery that lies deep within me will one day be met.
and girl I see ya gazin believe me its amazin what a rebel I've made out of you.
Well who knew staying true to your heart isn't right,
but it's always easy.

And everybody's around
And everybody is watching...

All who see can see what I see
or feel what I feel.
I'm afraid I'm losing my appeal
or becoming something unreal.

And everybody's around
And everybody is watching...

On the bridge walkin home and I'm all alone
and ya know I'm thinkin of you.
I wanna go down below just to watch the glow.
Just like we used to do

And girl I know you're crazy, but I still want you baby
cause I know you're wantin me too.
Well who knew a pretty girl like you could be mine
and it'd be that easy

And everybody's around
And everybody is watching...

All who see can see what I see
or feel what I feel.
I'm afraid I'm losing my appeal
or becoming something unreal.

You found the key.
the way you look at me.

All who see can see what I see
or feel what I feel.
I'm afraid I'm losing my appeal
or becoming something unreal.

Believing

I ask a thousand questions
I could never understand why it hurts
to write a thousand songs about you
I may never know the answer,
but my ankle owns the chain
While the world, it holds me down
as I try using my wings
Sometimes you fool me,
a clamoring man that would never
dream another dream
if I could see what you could see

They say my road is long....

We used to know believing
Our hearts are broken
Our lives were so decieving
We didn't need our eyes
to have a vision,
to make this right

I'll taste another word
You'll never catch on
And I know they say i shouldn't be here
If tomorrow is mine
then I'll look to the sky
And my aim will appear
The time is mine
This time is mine

They say my road is long
They say I'm not strong enough
As the sun sets out of sight
I'll bleed these words for you tonight

We used to know believing
Our hearts are broken
Our lives were so decieving
We didn't need our eyes
to have a vision,
to make this right

Sky Kites

I say I'm not the best that I could be
or I'll never be.
Lift high, pull me up to the sky.
Surely I will see I'm soaring high as a kite.

I'm leaving town for this tonight
Tomorrow's coming and I'll be fine.
Don't know where I'll sleep.
Don't know who I'll meet.
From line to line I'll start to find
the reason why I've lived this life more than alive

I say I'm not the best that I could be
or I'll never be.
Lift high, pull me up to the sky.
Surely I will see I'm soaring high as a kite.

This dream is a night away,
This dream is a fight a day
Running desparately, finding nothing but dismay
But I know, we know
that the circumstance of what welive throughwill reconcile
leading us through the pain

I'll be in good one day
So that no more I will say

reason why...

I say I'm not the best that I could be
or I'll never be.
Lift high, pull me up to the sky.
Surely I will see I'm soaring high as a kite.

And if you'll let me
I'll make your heart beat
I'll get you up, get you dancin on your feet
And while you're asleep
I'll be in your dreams
Just feel the rhythm of that beat

Surface

But the way you look at me
is so assurin
The world is all you know,
the surface of your skin

Fake smiles and formal laughs,
your laughs of insincerety
to find your perfect life
Despite the ones that die and thrive
on lies you spill down there throats
To build your castle in the sky
It's ok, I'll still fly away

But the way you look at me
is so assurin
The world is all you know,
the surface of your skin

I see right through you
And I know your kind
I can read the pages of the book you live by
I know the truth, almighty dollar signs
trapped inside your bright, smiling eyes
You seem to think that we're a little in the dark
And that's exactly where you start
You find our ignorance amusing
but it's just our chemistry we're using

But the way you look at me
is so assurin
The world is all you know,
the surface of your skin

In A Lifetime

Skipped a beat along the way
Take a moment to catch my breath
You took my breath away
Always ready for what's to come maybe now
or in a lifetime I'll finally make it

Forever I've been thinkin
I've been breaking this away
from every beating of my heart
It beats for you more than I'd like to admit
I'm shackled by your truth

Bring me a light
So I can see who I am
Bring yourself to me
so I can see who I'll be

I'm enraptured, captivated
All the tingles in my spine
Tonight I'm right, I know I'm right
Please give me a sign
Eyes of hope at the Heavenly skies
I know you're there holding me
You always make it better, but I...

Skipped a beat along the way
Take a moment to catch my breath
You took my breath away
Always ready for what's to come maybe now
or in a lifetime I'll finally make it

I cant believe I'm here
I see myself beside myself
Truth and honesty i will keep
and then we'll finally make it

Bring me a light
So I can see who I am
Bring yourself to me
so I can see who I'll be

Skipped a beat along the way
Take a moment to catch my breath
You took my breath away
Always ready for what's to come maybe now
or in a lifetime We'll finally make it

So I'm sitting in a rad house in Pomeroy, Ohio. A rad family took us in for tonight after the show. We're all very blessed to be fortunate enough to have such nice families take us in. And the father of the house took me out in the snow on his 4-wheeler to check out the trails in the dark! It took me back to home for sure. Even in southern Ohio, people are still just as redneck as I am back home.. I love it. So we've been on this tour for about 4 days now, and every date we've had thus far has been way awesome. When we would think that 10 kids would show up, and at the end there would be 50 or so. Sick! So thanks to everyone so far for coming out to these shows and hanging out.. ok but here's the real deal. I'm sure you may have already noticed, but we've just put up our new layout, new promos, and now our new e.p., 'Brighter' is up now for you to check out!! for sure. We're all very excited to finally have the e.p. up. I hope that you guys love the music. We hope that you all will add the songs to your profiles and jam em up!! we should have the new e.p. up on ITunes soon!!! anyway, hope you guys dig it! and anyway, we'll have a new video blog up soon showing some stuff from this tour.. But in the mean time, jam the songs! Come see us at a show! Tell all your friends!! thanks for reading. thanks for being our friend! Hope that you guys come to a show and make bffz with us! :) -Jesse-

Hey Everyone!
This is Jesse... and...
I hope you guys are doing swell.

We're here in Nashville working on our new record. And It's been a super rad time so far.

Since I'm newest in the band, I think that i'll just be writing blogs alot more...
We all have our 'myspace' jobs. ha. This is mine. Not that it's a job or anything..
It's just something fun to do!! Yeah!

So we arrived in Nashville Sunday. Got to our hotel room, got settled in, then headed to Sweet Briar Studio in Brentwood. Set up some drums for the following day...

So Monday we tuned drums, and spent...7-8 hours just getting the right drum tones. We did everything the right way. Thanks to our picky Producer Brent Hendrich.

So Monday night I did several takes on one song, then the next morning around 9 we started on the other songs. After a few bleeding fingers, Aching wrists, and a few pain pills taken, the drums were done..

Then we started recording a piano part one of our songs, and did a lil bit of keys too.. That was really a rad time.

Basically, you'll be seeing all of this in the video below..

But Just wanted to write a lil blog while were sitting here, watching spongebob at the studio, getting bass tones and all...

Yay!

Expect this record to be Legit.

Thanks guys!

-Jesse-

Here is a video of this week! Hope you like it!!!

It seems like it has been way to long since I wrote a blog! I have so much to say in this one it's rediculous. I'll try to give shorter blogs with shorter amounts of times in b/n blogs. This blog however,  will be a blog to get you up to speed on what's going on in our hectic lives these days!

First off, the last tour we hit with 'Amen. The Animal' was truly amazing!!! Those guys became some of our best friends, and I was honestly sad when the tour was over.  After all the food fights on the interstates, crazy living situations, great shows, and all nite pardyin' it was tough to say good bye. It's been a long time since I felt that nostaglic feeling. That's actually what 'Goodbye' is a bout. haha. Anyways to all of you who got to check us out on tour you're amazing and you made it the time of my life. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!  I'll remember that tour forever and hope we'll have many more just like it!

So as some of you may have heard Corey has decided to part ways with the band.  It's totally cool though! We wish him the best of luck and love him like a brother still. As some of you may know we found an amzing new bass player from our area. Extremely talented musician, fun dude, and amazing lyricist! I really see this setting us up to have a killer new line up for an awesome new record. We'll get to that soon.

That said, we're writing the new record right now! We've never came at a record with this sort of approach in our lives. We're so ready to blow some minds with something you've never heard before. We want to write music that is completely who we are. We're not writing for myspace cred, label attention, to furthur our fanbase, or to be a full time musican.  we're writing b/c it's who we are.  The music you'll hear soon is what we are and we're so stoked that we've finally realized that reality. I'm more passionate about this music than I've ever been b/c it truly is a peice of me. I think you'll get to hear that in some of the demo's we'll post! I'll let you judge it when it comes out.

Somethings I've learned on tour and writing music this mont.....

1. savor every second with your friends
2. be yourself through your music
3. Accept growing
4. Roll with the punches
5. living in a van with 5 dudes....pretty- hilarious/ aweful/ pardy/ annoying/
AMAZING

We've got two more weeks of tour this year and then we'll head home to finish writing and recording the new record. Then off again to tour some more and make new friends with a new facet of 'Say You Will' showing. We're projecting the CD to come drop in January! Can't wait to see what it does!

I hope you guys enjoy this as much as we do.

Well, we just got back home from Conerstone. Which was a blast!!! We met a ton of new people and got to hang with them alot on and off the stages. Couldn't ask for a better time. Campfires, Clubin', Giggin', and of course Pardyin'. We can't wait till next year.

(If anyone has any photoz/vidoez send them our way!!!)

First I wanna apologize for the the cancellations on the rest of our tour in July. If you were stoked about getting to see us in your town. WE ARE SO SORRY. Some things happened that were out of our control and we made the best decision that we could.

BUT!

We are heading out at the end of this month with AMEN. THE ANIMAL. And its gonna be sick.

Stay updated on our site and see if were coming near you!!!

As for right now... Were gonna enjoy time with our families, friends, and trying to make a little money. We are still writing for our new Full-Length that will hopefully be coming out in November/December.

Get stoked on that!!!!

Also, we have a couple things for sell:

Fender 72 Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar - $650/obo
Fender Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar w/ hot rail - $350/obo

just leave a message if your interested.

thanks Guys and keep us in your prayers!!!
