moonbombs will be doing a guest spot interview on the almighty 99.3 fm Wednesday 24th September on the indie-alternative hour with Ben & Katie, spinning our fav tunes and chatting in depth about the new ep 'Bleeding lights'. We are very excited about our eagerly awaited ep being released very soon, so much so that we just can't contain ourselves and are going to have to do something about it! So this sunday we will be playing a show at Spectrum with our newly recorded ep available at the show even before it hits the shops! OMG, i hear you say they can't be serious! But yeh baby that's right we are gonna lay it on you right there in the flesh all you have to do is get down to spectrum @ 8pm and you can pick one up for just $10, so get crackin!

The day is here. The Ep is pressed and printed!.....Its done.

It will be available to purchase from ALL forthcoming shows. Including next week's one on the 24th!

A launch is being planned right now, and will no doubt take place in the first half of september.

It will be available to buy instores from september 6th.

We have 2 shows this week!! The first commencing tuesday night at the annandale hotel it's free and cheap cheap drinks all night also playing are The walk on by and New Archetypes doors at 8pm some come and check out some of our new tunes that will be played from our forth coming ep 'bleeding lights'. The 2nd show is at the Sandringham Hotel Newtown and it's with our friends Micky Gloss and those crazy kids from Halal, how are you. It promises to be a very big night and we hope to see you getting loose with the minions, doors at 6pm costs $6

Fbi radio adds 'Fire in the factory' to rotation!! And it's one of the 'tunes of the week'

After a few busy weeks of recording, mixing and mastering we've finally got a little ditty of an ep to lay apon your waiting ears, and you can get a taste of it via fbi radio so go on tune in and show your support, and let them know how much you love it!!

'Bleeding lights' will feature 5 tracks and we've already uploaded 2 of them that are gonna be featured on it, 'Fire in the factory' and 'Diamonds' so check them out on the myspace.

We're really happy with the end results and can't wait to start playing it live, so look out for more moonbombs show's in the next few months and a huge launch show only ya mum can come to...

So our EP is 95% complete! All it needs now is cover art! That should be sorted out in the next week or so...

It was mixed, recorded, and engineered by Jon Hunter at Robot Attack. And Mastered by Don Bartley at Benchmark Mastering...

Hi,

Good news! Our EP has finally been recorded! It took about 4 days in total. Now its in the mixing and mastering stage, which will likely take a few weeks...

Still no title yet, im sure we will come up with something.

You may have noticed we changed our name....again. We are now MOONBOMBS. If you dont like it, we dont give a fuck...sorry.

One more thing, we have a show coming up on the 18th of April. We are playing MUM once more at World Bar in Kings Cross. Its going to be great, first time we have played any of our new material for an audience. Exciting! Make sure your there!!!

Hi!

So you may be wondering about our lack of news/gigs, or maybe you arent? Either way, we are currently writing our second EP. This time with the not so new anymore, Chris on guitar.

The stuff we have been coming up with is really fun. Its a bit different to what we've done before, but that feels good. You could probably call it a bit darker, more atmospheric...

We have no idea when we will have it finished. But we are pretty sure it will be this year at least...

Gigs will probably start happening again around that time!

Until then, we will be posting little snippets on our MySpace for you to check out, so stay tuned!
