You know, I just came back from hanging out with the gang, doing some shows and I gotta tell you. Hip hop is no longer an TEAM EFFORT. What do I mean about that? Well, let's just say somewhere down the line these UP AND COMING new hip hop "WANNABEES" don't realize the true meaning of hip hop. Its a culture, a feeling, a place that is for FAMILY.  Sure there are battle crews, but you always, ALWAYS RESPECTED the other crew. No matter if you didnt care for them, u still SHOWED THEM RESPECT. 

Also funny how the new HIP HOP WANNABEES have no idea when or why they are in this culture. They have no knowledge of HISTORY, how it all began, WHY it began. U take the underground emcees such as SAGE FRANCIS, NECRO, TECH9, ZION I and I bet you every one of them can give you the history of hip hop and u better believe EMINEM's name ain't  the reason why they started. No Disrespect to EMINEM by no means. Hell, he can tell you the history of hip hop.

Why am I voicing this blog, cause some individuals pissed me off with their ignorance. Here at NGC, we ALWAYS respect other individuals. No matter what genre of music, style, if they are good or if they suck. We give people PROPS for doing what they do. It isnt easy in this biz. You CAN NOT do this with out the help from OTHER CREWS, OTHER INDIVIDUALS. Trying to be ABOVE others will get your ass no where quick.  

Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE has to work TOGETHER to make this dream happen. No one is BETTER than the next. We all are working towards the same goal.  NGC is no better than any of the indie labels out there. We all trying to make that money, gain that fanbase.  Its about building relationships and networking with others, helping each other out. Bottom line.

So to those who are clueless, GET A CLUE.  TEAM WORK is what it's all about. Remember that.

So its been awhile since i dropped about whats going on in the camp!! We are currently working on the new mixtape, INNER SUN which will feature the NGC crew, but also, SKIMP KILLAH, NOMADIC and many more.

Also coming out will be 2, yes 2 cds from EQUINOX. one is the DIEALATE and the other will be a collaboration with Habit from SUBJECT.

 coming out, another G1 cd, with a collab with EQUINOX. that will be later this summer. I am also working on another  film project with UNDER OATH PRODUCTIONS, lending some music their way.

as always, J-PALM will be releasing a few cds along the way, and their maybe, just maybe, a jazz cd from myself and JACIE McCONNELL in the works later this year. 

Who knows, there maybe even an JACIE McCONNELL/  J-PALM cd in the works! i am going to bug them two to do one!

So as you can see, the camp is busy as always, along with shows, etc etc.
