Kia ora! Black Issue 9 has been on sale here in New Zealand for around a month now. Copies will go on sale across Australia shortly and a little further down the track overseas. ♥Air NZ Fashion Week 2006 highlights - The old guard rocked it - Kate Sylvester, Zambesi, Nom D take a bow. Huffer moved into the big time and Lonely Hearts, Stolen Girlfriends and Jaeha arrived. ♥Occhiali Optical - simply the best place to get fitted and framed. Service with a smile and attention to detail. ♥Lexus - they picked us up on the last night of FW and took us for a burl downtown to KW - cars that think and see and make no sound at all! ♥The All Blacks - having to put up with a nation sweating on yer ass is pressure enough, never mind having to win the WC itself... ♥The monks in Myanmar - rise up, rise up against the Tatmadaw ♥L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme Intense - another winning scent from Issey ♥Another Sopranos episode to finish it properly please. ...is printed! Copies will be on sale nationwide here in NZ next Thursday, Sept 20 and in Australia early October. We think it is our best issue yet [but we always think that] and at 220 pages it is the biggest. Editorials for this issue from New Zealand, Australia, New York and France and features on The Moustache [Go The Mo'], Nuclear Power, The Sneaks, Black Oooze and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra among lots of other stuff. Art by et al, Julian Dashper and coverage on the Blow Treacey exhibition. Our cover girl this issue is Kemp Muhl and again is shot by Derek Kettela in New York.
