You wouldn't guess it by looking at me but I am sligthly obsessed with fashion these days. I spend hours browsing the Internet looking at fashion blogs and sites and retailers, untill I feel short, stout, poor and unstylish. Then I leave the house only to have that feeling accentuated by the droves of Icelandic shic-istas prancing around like it's Summer and their a-months-rent-worth shoes don't make them feel like those Indian guys who walk on spikes (and pretend it doesn't hurt none).
That said, I was hoping to extend this lovely feeling to some of my beloved Myspace friends. Let's start at random and weave through stylists, haute couture, prét-a-porter, street shic, thrifty ladies and obsessed bloggers...

Jaclyn Hodes is an American stylist who is the fashion director for
TheBlowup LLC, style magazine. She has this kind of vintage rockabilly sensibility which she pairs with wearable style that is still fashion forward. (Yes, I just creamed my pants with my own froth of fashion lingo.)

Chloe Sevigny. Duh.
I don't pretend to be special, I adore the "Kids" star as much as the next "indytrendyartyista" (copyright: Baldur). This dress and T-shirt combo she did for Opening Ceremony will be copied shamelessly by me when the Summer actually hits our humble island.
Feast your eyes upon the clothing line
here.

These boots should be in my wardrobe. Why must I be of reserved finances? Why?
Veronica Etro, If you are out there reading this: Gimme!

Now, don't let the pose fool you: You can not pee without taking off your overalls.
But in all honesty, the Spring/Summer collection at Rachel Mara is worth seeing, if not just to enjoy the photoshoot:
Rachel Mara
Designer
Samantha Pleet makes some pretty easygoing fashion items. Gotta love the (relatively) short, and stout, models.

Lou Dillon is the offspring of some
pretty fabulous icons. She is an actress and model, and some voices have been whispering about her own clothing line. I would definitely be happy to wear her boho / gypsy / gonzo – looking style.

Saving the best for (almost) last: Bernhard Wilhelm's Fall/Winter '08 collection is a dream for all us out there who have been jumping on the classic fairytale bandwagon that we have been seeing in art and fashion lately. Go
here. See it and weep.
Some of the collection is probably going to be sold in
KronKron in Iceland, so if someone want's to give me money just send it to my accountant.
