Dear Friends.

It is with great regret that we must announce the end of Tomboy. This wasn't an easy decision as we have had some great times, made a lot of friends, and met some 'interesting' people.

Sadly, we felt that we could no longer continue as a band due to logistical, and personal reasons.

We'd just like to thank everyone who's come to our gigs, bought the cd's, listened to our tunes on Myspace, and just generally supported us over the last three years or so.

Some members of the band will no doubt continue with new projects and news of these will be posted on Tomboy's myspace page, which we fully intend to maintain, and maybe even update from time to time with archive material!

Things have been fairly quiet on the gig front recently whilst we've been writing and rehearsing new material for our sonic assault in the new year. many apologies for those of you now suffering from T.W.S. (Tomboy withdrawel syndrome). However, as you've all been so nice supporting us over the last 12 months (and longer for some of you), we're going into the studio this weekend, at great expense to ourselves, to record one of our most popular live numbers. This isn't a demo to be sent out to record companies, etc. It's a christmas present for you guys!!

Thanks to everyone who came along last night to the EP launch. We'll be heading back there in the new year......

The more astute of you may have noticed that you can now buy the CD which features 3 newly recorded tracks for only £3.50 including P&P.

For the people that have been asking:

From monday 25th september, you'll be able to buy a copy of our new EP from our myspace page only. It will then be available from subsequent Tomboy gigs including Southampton dates on september 25th and october 1st.
