He was a pure soul, a wonderful person. Always polite to even those who were not polite to him. While he was in Louisville, KY at several powwows and at a concert at Shelby campus, I had the honor to run errands for him and others.  I shall keep with honor the tapes he autographed for me.  His songs ring true of the plight of our people, and he is the one who said what many others were and still are afraid to say.

He sadly will be missed, but his fantastic spirit and the words that ring true shall keep him alive forever.
