The Shove They Neighbor recap, that being the April event for Pittsburgh's all-female roller derby league the Steel City Derby Demons is live on yardbarker.com right now.

For those who are not familiar, yardbarker.com is a very popular sports social networking web site, similar to myspace for sports, I suppose.

Stories are sent to the front page of the site based on how many members give the story thumbs up. With the NFL draft, NHL and NBA playoffs going on this weekend, the site should be getting a huge amount of traffic. If we make a concentrated effort to go to the link, take a few minutes to register and then click on the thumbs up icon below the story, there is a good chance that the story could be sent to the front page, at least briefly, potentially exposing roller derby to a very large audience of hardcore sports fans.
