Well I have to say my favorite band is 311. They will always be. There like my home base band. Theirs nothing like them that made me feel as good as they have in my whole life. There my musical heroes! I know when I first started to really listen to them we made a huge connection with each other. It was back in late June of 2006. There music actually empowered me. They empowered me to be the best that I can be. They made me strongly positive too. I mean you want to talk about inspirational music. 311 is it! I know they brought me alive come my 12th grade year in high school. I was just 18 then too. Before that I was more of a loner and quiet in high school. I was starting to see a dark road up the way, but 311 had changed all that!

I will have to say that there songs Hostile Apostle and Wake Your Mind Up are what really changed me aside from there song, All Mixed Up. Those songs just got me thinking about who I am and who I really should be. All Mixed Up is all about me. I thought a freak might be the thing but I knew that would pass, and so I just got off my ass like Nick Hexum and SA sing about in that song. I let go of regret and listened to my instincts. That's what I got to do I learned from 311. 311 helped me find the light in life. When I need to hear something that makes sense, all I got to do is listen to them, but I am a huge music lover too, just like Nick Hexum say's in the 311 song, Rub A Dub. I make sure I listen to good music though now thanks to 311 and I have discovered other great musicians through 311, like the Black Eyed Peas. I don't like music if it generates a negative vibe. It's bad for you. I make sure that it has a good positive vibe. That's the problem with some people is that they get listening to this music that generates a negative vibe and they end up in trouble. Even end up in darkness. And it don't matter what kind of music it is. It's the lyrics of a song mainly that matter. 

It's a shame people don't see the light in the world. I just know it feels so good once you understand that light in the world and 311 helped me do just that. They made me really sane and realize just who I was at heart. The child with in me that is. When I was more innocent. My innocence had returned. I just started thinking about those good ol beach days with my mom at the beach. I was a beach boy and not meant to be a freak like some Marlyn Manson lover. Lets just say 311 got me to change to who I really was underneath it all. The soul I had just waiting to burst out of me had come out of me.

I really gained soul from them. 311 is also all about the beach and fun in the sun. I could really relate with them to having a love for the beach as I did mostly as a kid. They got me loving the beach even more actually. That can be seen on my myspace too. And Myspace in the long run really helped show just who I was for real I feel. I was able to speak my voice more through the bullshit and out. I love myspace. I just want to say music can help you see. Its just that powerful when there's the right vibe like 311 has. I still grow to learn and understand 311.

I have a really good understanding of them now though. I have every main album that was released and I will make sure to get every new one that comes about in there life time.I love you 311! Thank you for helping me find the light in life and enriching my life. I usually say that to myself when I listen to 311. I know they have helped way more people than just me too. They have made me a way stronger minded person and I have them to thank for that as many others do too. Remember its the music that we choose!
