I appreciate people who want to promote GameGirl.com on their site, or give us a shout-out on their video show...but why give us coverage if you don't even know the correct name of our site?! I really do appreciate all the free press, but seriously people; it's GAMEGIRL.com not GirlGamer not GamerGirl not GamerGirls or any other combination of those two words...it's GameGirl. Please please please, do not volunteer to give us free press if you can't even get the site address correct.


You have no idea how many interview requests we get that in the very interview they call the site everything but the correct name. Grr, even X-Play gave us a shout-out...but even they couldn't make sure the site name was correct. Sheesh.

I just got back from E For All and brought a cold back home with me. Fun times! I will update you with details from the show and many many pictures as soon as I can stay awake long enough.

So I have been playing LittleBigPlanet lately and I am LOVING it, more than I expected.

So over at Gamegirl.com we have LittleBigPlanet beta codes for giveaway. Each day we will post 3 video game related trivia questions and the first 5 people to answer the questions correctly will get a code. So check us out!

In other news....only 6 more days till Disney World and I couldn't be more excited!

Most of you know me from my work with the GirlsEntertainmentNetwork.com, well that gig has ended.

Ever since the site got bought out there have been issues and things I did not agree with. The site seems to have lost it's original goals, it's original feel and just the way things were originally told to us on how it would be. Ever since it became GEN it has seemed to go more mainstream and family, then it was a geek haven and a place with all things geek culture. It just feels to me like we "sold out" as site, only for reader hits and not about what we felt passionate about. So I have moved on.

I have been talking to several other GEN girls who have been thinging about leaving as well, it's just not what any of us signed up for anymore. I think they could tell I had checked out long before.

You can still find me on GameGirl.com, I will continue to put my all into that site and together we will make it the best of it's kind. I have been with GameGirl since it launched in August of 2007 and it has really been exactly what I have been looking for.

I do hope all the girls who decide to stay with GEN the best of luck! And I am sure I will see many of them again.

There is no hard feelings between me or anyone in GEN, it just simply has gotten away from it's original feel. And it became something I was no longer proud of being a part of.
