Want a free 7"? We have like less than 20 clear pink 7"s that are
available in the UK only, from ALL IN VINYL!

Share the event on your MySpace and Facebook page (you can even
message me saying you did so) and I'll put your name on a list for a
random drawing! I'm only giving out 3!

Anyone in the season?

We habitually do our own personal things for Halloween - rarely as a band, anymore. You never want to over-kill one of your favorite holidays.

But, this year we are going to play Devil's Night - which I think is going to be more appropriate for the new direction of this band. Fun, aggression, and unbridled energy - that's more our style than costumes and fictional monsters.

The Devil's Night show is especially important, as it marks the launch of our dear friend Jaysin's CITY OF HORROR clothing company - which has been in the works for some time, while still being a close supporter of the band.

While Gen-Y is lighting up the Warped Tour's with twenty different shades of neon blue and yellow, remember that there is definitely a crucial place for the fun of blood and guts. CITY OF HORROR remembers that year-round, and as the beacon for horror movies and cult tradition comes close, visit their site and pick something up. This is like Christmas for satanic goth kids, where ever they are, hiding in some cave away from all of the bright lights of Forever the Sickest Kids fans, or All Time Low records.

Anyway - we saw our handsome friends in AFI on Monday with GALLOWS. Both were great, and I recommend both the new AFI record and Gallows' Grey Britain DVD. It's a really rad visual piece, tying together the record and the band very well - while maintaining their hardcore aesthetic/roots.

News on our end:

The tour kicked our ass, and we spent the better part of September recovering. We are now spending the fall writing and demoing. We want to make sure the new record is our strongest effort yet, so bear with us. In the meantime, stay plugged in with us:

Check it out, the 7" is going to be released Oct 30th at our record release show.

WE HAVE A REALLY LIMITED AMOUNT!

Otherwise, if you want this badboy, you'll have to order it from the UK, at All In Vinyl.

So check out the shirt/7" package, or if you're in the Baltimore area, come to the record release show!

We're only playing this, and one other show (with the GALLOWS) in 2009, so come and get 'em!

The new AFI is really good. Nice step forward for those dudes, very cohesive record.

There was a time maybe 10 years ago where their records were so subject to critical analysis and comparisons to their earlier work, but my hopes is that that habit has died.

Most of those fans at that point are probably in their 30's now, and if they're anything like me they are just happy to enjoy a record from a band they had a meaningful musical relationship with when they were younger.

Not to say I'm indifferent and whatever it sounds like I'm game, I think it actually is good!

Anyway. What's new? What are you going as for Halloween? I love asking this every year. I'm going as a pumpkin spiced soy latte. Or maybe I'll just drink one and walk around. What else is new? Anyone see that show ARCHER that was on before Always Sunny Last week? Shit was gold, had cast members from the Venture Bro's, and I love that show.

On our end, we had the wonderful lads in ALL IN VINYL (UK) release our songs from "Bad Things" onto vinyl. Shit looks so dope, I highly suggest you find a way to get your hands on them.

We're going to release the only copies we have (which are like less than 50) very soon, so stay tuned for a special dealio with them. Otherwise you may not be able to get them in the US.

alright, time to fly, as the Penguin says.

Follow us on Twitter! We say funny things like that. Sometimes...

See Orphan.  It goes for the jugular, rips it out, and makes you choke on it.

That is one hardcore chick.

Fuck Yeah.
