An interesting time, it is. Way back in the dark ages, you had talent, you got in a band , you got a record deal, you got money (maybe) and you got your music heard (maybe maybe). Now there's still bands, still talent, no record companies, little money, and you get your music heard (sort of maybe). We're all become entrepreneurs weaving a little path that we can call our own through these virtual woods. We leave trails of bread crumbs and hope that someone will follow it right to our door. The great thing is that now anyone that has an instrument sharp enough to cut through all of the bullshit can make a trail of sorts. Myspace-website-music-CDs-zeros and ones. An interesting time. The passion is still there, it's just fragmented into a billion bits. About the only thing that hasn't changed is the music and how it still moves the air and lands straight in the middle of our minds..........

First, there's a guitar. Then there's an amp. Next thing you know, a mic and a recorder pop up. Eventually a bus comes along with a lot of bunks and some fancy TV in the back that no one can figure out. Thank god for Team America. There's a "studio in a box" and a "family on wheels". The box lets me be me; the writer, the producer and the singer. The wheels and the family are just wonderful bits o' fun. Even the rolling wine bottles on the curves are amusing. There's a blonde and a brunette to my right that are simply amazing. We play, lather, rinse, repeat, and then play again. Shorter days with the box, longer days with the wheels but it all evens out in the long run ....... more later.
