It saddens me to announce my decision to leave 32FramesPerSecond. It wasn't an easy decision to make, and it's something that I've been wrestling with for a while.
This band has been an important part of my life for the last seven years, and it's had a massive impact on everything that I've done in that time. When I first met Alex all those years ago and we decided to form a band, it was always with the intention to give it everything we had and sacrifice anything we needed to in order to take it as far as it would go. The four of us have never been the most technically gifted musicians in the world, but what we always had was passion, commitment, desire to play our music as often as possible and to give every set everything we had, and that made us as a band far better than the sum of our parts. However, our personal lives and circumstances have changed and grown up over the years, and none of us are in the position anymore where we can risk and sacrifice everything for the sake of a band. That's definitely not a bad thing, but I personally feel that we've lost the driving force of what we were as a band and it just doesn't feel right to me anymore.
I know that Alex, Rob and Greg have a different take on the whole thing, are still enjoying doing what they do and have no plans to stop anytime soon, so 32FramesPerSecond will carry on when Greg gets back from Canada next year. I respect their decision and wish them well, and I hope there aren't any hard feelings on either side. Being in 32FramesPerSecond has given me some fantastic experiences over the years and allowed me to meet some amazing people, and I'll always look back on my time with the band with a lot of pride and some great memories.
Chris

So as you may have noticed, we haven't been doing much lately and the gigs list is bare.
From now until (at least) March 2010, 32Frames will be going on a hiatus. There are a few reasons for this, the main one being that Greg will be heading off later this week to spend the next year in Canada (lucky boy). We've also had a hard time in the last year or so trying to pin down time when we're all free to play gigs, so we're gonna take a few months out and hopefully be in a better position to pick things up again when the dust has settled and Greg's back with us.
We're still working on the release of our EP and this will probably arrive in the next few weeks or so, but we won't be an active band in the gigging and writing sense until a year or so from now.
Keep watching this space for more updates.
Bye for now

We had a great time at saturdays show! Big thanks to everyone involved! I don't think any of us have enjoyed ourselves playing as much for a long time and its a shame people in other places aren't so supportive of live music! lets keep it fun!!!!

Hey hey,
So we have some big news, if you dont already know we’ve joined forces with punktastic recordings and we’re pretty delighted about it!
We’ll be releasing a free downloadable EP followed by a full length physical CD this year.
We’re heading in to the studio next weekend to record the demo’s. Everything is moving pretty quickly so expect quite a bit of activity from us in the near future as well as a UK tour in August.
If you’re a promoter then feel free to contact us about gigs and if you’re a fan then just feel free to contact us!
So I think that’s about it for now,
laters
A Very Happy 32FramesPerSecond

Punktastic have one of our tracks on their new podcast along with aload of other great bands including some from their own label which are worth checking out. We have a track on their last compliation 'Unscene 3' and have a track on their new 'Unscene 4' album which is 99 bands playing 30 seconds songs! out on a joint release between them and Banquet records on the 30th and you can pre-order a copy from the site! should be awesome, not heard a final copy yet! go support them as they do alot for us and the UK scene! www.punktastic.com
We are set to start recording later this month and have some shows in Norwich and Lowestoft so come along if you can - All gigs will be on our main page.
Also have some t-shirts left so please let us know if you want one as I'm sure we can knock a few pounds off as we need to sell some stuff to help pay for the recording!
I'm now listening to the Fastlane album that arrived from Punktastic yesterday! Also came with a free comp of all idols fall's EP which is awesome and they are playing Norwich next weekend at the all dayer along with Vanilla Pod and others at the King Edward the 7th on Aylesham Road!
thanks for everyone who has read this! We hope to have an interesting year lined up for 2008! please comment or message us and let us know what your up to or where you want us to try and get gigs this year! We will try and come to you rather than vice versa! And of course please let us know if you can offer any help with gigs, art, promotion or anything!

We had some awesome shows in the last week in Norwich with Hogwash, Dirty Kirst and Fletch Caddillac, Kings lynn with Vannilla Pod, Anonymouse Tip and Dumpster Pop, Peterborough with Pickled Dick, Hogwash and Flick 66 (+ another I missed!)
its good to play with so many bands who are also great people - go check them out as well!
they were all really good shows and we feel very much recharged and ready to go for the tour next month! Got a few more dates to confirm and add so eyes peeled!
thanks to everyone who came along especially those who bought t's and CD's as it helps pay for the trip home! Andrew and the Ruined guys and gals we love you.
Trying to get some more pics done as the weather is so good + hopefully some new t'shirt designs and stickers!
If you do live anywhere near places we are playing on the tour please get in touch and we would love it if you could help spread the word to people you know so we can have a decent crowd! This scene is nothing without people who support it except bands playing to bands!
We have also had some good reviews from Germany on websites and magazines! If you search for them on Google there are quite a few - so please try and translate them for us if you speak German as were rubbish!
On a similar note - We are aiming at a small euro tour in March with France and germany being deffinate! Again if you can help get in touch!
please check out all the shows listed and try and come along if you can!
Thanks for reading and no - I havent used spell check but probably should. Rob 32FPS

Sorry its been a while since our last update - we've been busy!
First of all....unfortunately we had to pull out of a bunch of gigs last month due to illness, some of which at very short notice. It was completely unavoidable. Massive apologies to anybody who planned to see us and to the promoters who had put us on. Thanks to the boys in Dirty Kirst for all their help. We owe you one. Again.
Anyway, some better news. We're releasing 'Michael' as a single in July through Triumphant Sounds/Ten Past Ten. It will be available as a download through iTunes from 6th July and then will be released as a split with Mr Shiraz on 7inch vinyl (with CD-R) - date tbc. You can hear 'Michael' and another new song, 'Wishing' on our main page. Ta to Kay for doing another sterling job on the recording.
We'll be touring at some point over the summer - if anybody would like us to play please get in touch! Cheers, Alex, Chris, Greg & Rob 32FPS

We played a few gigs recently - the funniest has to be on Friday in Gt Yarmouth at a place called Rasputins. We played with (the ever amazing) Worn, Dirty Kirst and Crone. Worn played some bootifull songs, very jimieatworldesque and reminded me that they are one of my favorite bands live! Everyone should check them out! DK played a blinding set as well as giving us plenty on abuse which is always good! By this point we were already pretty drunk and singing along like Karaoke kings. (I love whiskey....) We then played the most drunken set for a long time with Greg dancing on the bar and trying to bum Kay. He normally waits till no one else is looking.. All was good until disaster! My full pint fell on the floor. £2.70 gone in a splash. This was a traumatic point for me but it was quickly replaced and I carried on grinning like a twat. You can always tell when Alex id drunk because he actually smiles - which he did alot! After that was Crone who finished off - I think I had a pint for each song? well close! Us and the DK guys decided to kip in the vans (got a new one by the way so we now owe money money) and managed to drink half the of license and a big bottle of Cherry lambrini (big mistake) ended up on the beach at about 3:00 - got sandy and ended up climbing through the window from one van to the other and telling Greg Baz from DK was going to bum him. If you read all of that I'm sorry.Come see us play and we will get drunk and perform like musical monkeys for you. just no Cherry Lambrini this time......
Were in Cambridge on Wednesday and Bolton on Friday + more next month, so come along if you can - If not let us know where you are and we'll try and get a gig near you!
phew! Rob 32FPS
Ill probably get told off for writing rubbish by the boyz.
