Hey everybody, A huge apoligie to every one who came to the Cow Track in Oakdale and didnt find us there. To make a long story short, a tire blew on the old school bus and not having a spare or a jack we called trusty AAA and to our surprise after being on hold for over 3 hours with them, they informed us they could not help us even though we are covered under them and have been for years. So here we sit in a awesome little pub out side of Shasta City.... Sorry to any body we let down but hopefully we will get back on the road tomorrow!

Cheers, LAHF!

During our last summer tour we met some amazing people in Richmond, Virginia. After an epic house party and night of relentless debauchery, he told us about his buddy who has a studio outside Nashville, Tennessee. Our new found friend was able to take the week off work, hop in the short bus and cruise out to Tennessee with us. In a home made studio in the hills of Tennessee in his uncle's basement, we recorded 11 songs in a matter of 16 hours. We are inching for every body to hear it. So here is a rough mix of the title track of the new record "Ready Your Roommates" to be released early next year! We will keep y'all posted on the release and when we get the mixing and mastering finished we will have the whole album up for your ears to hear!

Cheers, LAHF!

Howdy from the road, This is day 70 something i think. We have been out since June 19th. We have seen a lot of dive bars and met a ton of amazing people. This tour has been incredible. This whole time we have been searching for the perfect studio to record a new album. To our surprise it found us. I am sitting in a basement studio in the forested hills about 40 mins out side Nashville Tennesse. It is truly beautiful out here. We just got done laying down 11 tracks in 10 hours. We got a brand new recording on the way and are totally stoked for it!

We are heading out to Ashville, North Carolina in a couple days and then down to Louisiana and then back west and we'll be back in Oregon at the end of this month. I know we never update this blog thing and i doubt many people read it but i want to thank all the people that have been so great to us. We owe every thing to the friendly faces that keep us going from town to town. Bless your hearts!

Much love from Tennessee.

Hello yall,
Well it has been a hell of a trip.  I am sitting here in Richmond Virginia about 4 thousand miles from home (good old Oregon). We have been gone for 2 and a half months and have played almost every day.  We had a day off today and went and caught a $2 movie.  We have been having a blast here in Richmond. We played a house party last night. It was a fucking great time.  It felt like a show back home...about 70 kids crammed into a living room and it was hot and loud.  We are playing here again on Saturday at Cous Cous, should be a lot of fun.  After that we have a bunch of open dates so we will see what happens (if anyone has any ideas for shows in the South hit us up).

We started the tour in Bend and then went up to P-town then Seattle.  We cut East and Zig-Zaged up and down the Northern States all the way over to the East Coast.  We played on the streets in NYC a bunch. Since then we have hit 20 something states and many many cities. We have met lots of great people, Played with tons of great bands and played lots of cool shows.

When we get home we will be playing two home coming shows:
the first
Fri. Oct. 23rd
@ the Domino Room in Bend
with Willy T
Ether Circus
and Tater Famine
All ages 6$
@ 7:30 pm

Second
Sat. Oct. 24th
@The Silver Moon Brewing Company
in Bend
W/Willy T
3$
+21
9pm

The Short Bus has been treating us pretty well. It sure as shit is better than the old Ford Van.  We have a lot more room.  But so far on this trip we have put more than 20 thousand miles on it. We have gone threw an alternator, a starter, a tire, 4 fuel filters, gallons and gallons of coolant and lots of oil.
We Still have one more month before we get back into Oregon.  From here we are going to head south and try to hit all the southern states and work our way back West.  Wish us luck everyone. We are going to need it.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you when we get home.  Much love, my brothers and sisters.

Much love, Jamin and the flask!

PS. By the way i wanted to personally thank all of the people across the U.S. that have helped us out with shows and places to stay, food, beer, parties, gas money, Air conditioning, ice cream, songs, applause, dancing, screaming, and everything.  You all mean the world to us and without all of you giving us so much, we would still be back home in Oregon working at Wal-Mart or Burger King. THANK YOU!!

Hello friends, we surely dont write on this to much but 9:30 in the morning is a pretty good time to write a recap of this amazing new year thus far. As some people are aware we have been hitting the road pretty hard, cruszing in the good ole 89 econoline, (nothing but praise for ford vans!) This last trip we made began ruff with a short detour in the Jackson county jail. 3 and half days in jail is way more than a bunch of ramblers could possibly stand. They let us free and the rest of the tour was a magical journery we will not forget! We are so lucky to have such good friends to help us when we are in a jam, your love and support means the world to us! The Flask keeps filling and filling. This last month we spent out in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Colarado spreading our "hardcore folk music" to whoever will stop and listen. A huge thanks to all the great people who welcomed us into their bars, clubs, houses, yards, squats and barns. we owe you greatly! Another huger thanks to all the musicians we had the honor to play with and hear. We are going to be hanging out in Oregon and playing localy for March and April we will be back on the road playing with our brothers and sisters in California...look for us all across the US this summer if anyone wants a party band hit us up! Be sure to check out music from The Haunted Wind Chimes: www.myspace.com/thehauntedwindchimes and The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit www.myspace.com/thegoodluckthriftstoreoutfit
For all friends and family of Geoff and Vanessa. We are hosting a memorial show at the Bend Community school on Greenwood this Saturday feb 21st! hope to see every out then!

Hello, dear friends!!

There are so many amazing people out there and we are truly blest to have met so many of you . Here i am sitting at my uncles computer drinking nut brown ale and listening to Ramblin Jack Elliot. its been one hell of a summer and its been a damn long time sence any of us wrote shit on this blog deal, dont know wheather anyone reads it or not but i figure i might as well let everybody know whats been going on in the LAHF world. To start this out, NEVER LONG GONE! our brand new album turned out perfect and we hope everybody enjoys it! We couldn't have done it without help from our friends Dallin Bulkey, Syndra Shimnt and Casey Hagen. We toured from May to July, all the way from Southern Oregon to Northern Alberta all the way across Canada to Saint Johns Newfoundland then back across Canada and the States. We played some great shows, met great people as well as got our van broken into and our wheel nearly fell off in Montana but somehow we made it back alive. I was home one day, hit the road again and have been ramblin all over BC meeting people and singing night and day. i've been handcuffed, rained on, slept on rocks, played with gypsys and hobs, guess i am a little of both, worked in orchards and feilds, picked fruit and dug holes. Jamin came and picked me up as i got off of Vancouver Island. The 1989 ford probe broke down in Surrey on our way east. with the great assistance of BCAA we made it far enough to our home land of the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Just so everybody knows, Beau did quit the band for his own personal reasons. The line up may have changed a bit but we have some things up our sleves so expect to see us back on the road this fall. I am going to hit the hay and figure out how the fuck we are getting home in a car with an alternator that doest work!

Cheers, Jeshua and Jamin Marshall, LAHF OR DIE!

Thanks so much to every single person that came to Colby's show on Friday and made it possible! The show was perfect! All the bands were great. Huge thanks to The Confederats for getting back together and rocking the house once again. We were able to raise an incredible 2,100 dollars for Kathy Smallwood. She is extremely greatful. We have an amazing scene in Central Oregon and lets never forget how important life is! No matter what, we are all brothers and sisters. Thanks so much to all the donations and musicians who lent thier talent for a great cause. Goodbye  Colby, no one will ever forget you!!

With love, Larry And His Flask!
