Anything For the Kids

 

 

95 WIIL ROCK’s 2nd Annual “Anything For The Kids” annual charity event to benefit “A Safe Place For Help” is this Saturday, December 12th from 10am til 10pm.  We will play any song from any band for a price.  The farther “out there” the request, the more money it will cost to get the song played.  Call 1-800-223-9510 with your donation/request!

 

Local bands can also get airplay during this event.  The cost for playing a “local” song is $100.00.  We are only playing one local band/song per hour from 10am through 6pm.  After 6pm, we’ll play as many local songs as we can fit in til 10pm.  The local songs will play at :10 after the hour, each hour.  You can pay with credit card, cash or check.  Make checks out to NextMedia.  Also, all local songs must be 5 minutes or less, must be free of profanity/swear words and the song must be a professionally produced and mastered song.  No basement tapes allowed. Songs can either be emailed to jp@95wiilrock.com or dropped off at our studios at 8500 Green Bay Road, Pleasant Prairie, WI  53158.

 

The Anything for The Kids Radiothon benefits "A Safe Place."  They provide shelter, court advocacy, referrals and comprehensive counseling programs for victims of domestic violence - women and children who have been physically, verbally, or emotionally abused.

Tom 's Prison Loaf recipe!

 
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Blend 1 leftover serving of "Tom's Souperior Meat Loaf" with 1 leftover serving of mashed potatoes
3. Blend in one half serving of leftover green beans.
4. Blend in 9 blue berries
5. Stir in one half serving of refried beans
6. Fold in one half package of "Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal"
7. Bake at 350 for 27 minutes.
