BOSCO'S Cup 2009 #1
will be Sunday May 24 It's asanctioned Magic Sealed Deck Tournament featuring
the Alara block at BOSCO'S Spenard.
Rregistration
begins at 12:30, play begins at 1:00.
Cost $25.00
Each player will
recieve six booster packs of cards - 3 Alara Reborn booster packs and
3 Shards of Alara booster packs to build a deck. Basic lands will also
be provided. The prize pool will consist of two packs per player.
The top three
will get an engraved trophy.
BOSCO'S Cup
2 in the summer as the 2010 Core Set release event, BOSCO'S Cup 3 in October
as the release event for the start of the next block, and BOSCO'S Cup
4 in early December.
(The Tour de France started out over 100 years ago with
a handfull of riders and struggled as an unknown race for years. Now it
is huge. HUGE! The Iditarod was a wild dream of Joe Reddington and a quiet
race when it started. Now it is followed worldwide. The BOSCO'S Cup is
starting with its own little struggles. But the future will note the champions
of these early years as the forerunners of Alaska's premier Magic: The
Gathering event! The BOSCO'S CUP will be coveted!)
