Like the title says, we're looking for shows in May, specifically from the 12th to the 24th. If you look on our page you'll see there's already quite a few shows filled but we're just struggling with a few dates for various reasons (promoters pulling out/venues not being available etc.) and these dates are marked 'TBC'. Hehe - ’big one’. Exciting! In other news, we’re recording an album at the moment, it’s going rather well, except for the fact that I played drums for 12 hours straight last Sunday and now I have a weird lump in my arm. We’ll probably preview a few tracks on here when they’re ready, but Lorien’s off to the US on Tuesday for a few weeks AND we’re rabid perfectionist so it’ll probably be ages before anything’s ready. In the meantime you can read an interview with Newcastle’s NARC magazine (it’s in our pictures bit) and start saving up for our single what’s out on April the 21st.

Hello everybody,

Thought I'd update this as people have been all like, 'what's up' and the answers are very simple but boring to explain over and over again. First off, everything's going brilliantly at the moment, we've played some amazing shows (the Nativity show and London in particular) so thanks to everyone who came down/put us on/put us up for the night. We're hoping to confirm a few more shows soon, and of course we're always looking for gigs so get in touch if you'd like us to play for you.

Secondly: the more observant amongst you may have noticed that the 'label' part of our band description has changed to 'aA'. This isn't a weird typo or a misplaced paean to one of our favourite bands/automotive associations, but in fact stands for Akoustik Anarkhy, which is the lovely label we've just signed to and that we're going to put a 7" and album out with. We're currently writing and recording furiously and everything's sounding fantastic; we'll have some definite release dates for everything soon which of course we'll keep you posted about. We'll stick some new tunes on myspace soon as well.

Hello everyone,

Seemed to have too much stuff to fit into a bulletin so I thought I'd give blogging a try. Myspace told me it would be fun!

Firstly: about the EP we were going to put out. We'd planned to release it independently, but recently there has been EXCITING NEWS! that isn't quite finalised yet but means that our plans have changed (for the better!); we'll tell you more when we know more, so hold tight people.

Secondly: the above mentioned EN! is going to allow us to go to strange, sexy places with our music, so we've decided to put all of our efforts into CiP - which,I'm very sad to say, means that me, Mike and Lorien will no longer be playing in Peek Adore. It's a real sad shame as we love Ed and his music is just wonderful, but thanks to the frickin' MAN making us all work all the time, we just can't find the time to do both at the moment. We're going to be playing our last PA show on Monday, November 26th, at Tiger Lounge in Manchester, and it will be a heart-breaking occasion for all concerned. On the plus side though, it's free to get in, so please come and pay your respects.

Lastly: we have lots of special shows coming up in Manchester, London and Leeds - please come and say hi!
