So Barefoot Sublime came out today.

It is in itunes and amiestreet and will soon be in amazon, emusic, spotify and all other major online retailers. I am trying to sell 50 000 copies of the mp3 and have a counter on my website which I will update when i get sales figures in. So far I have sold 25 copies so the first step has been taken!

If you are keen please tell your friends about how ludicrous this is and check the website for an updating tally! And if you buy it, well thank you from the bottom of my soft and squishy!

My new single Barefoot Sublime is winging its way to itunes.  You can check it out on my myspace home page. The song was recorded and mixed by me. It then went to New York where it was Mastered by Joe La Porta at The Lodge (think The Shins, Vampire Weekend).

The Cellist that played on this track built her own cello! It is incredible and beautiful and I hope one day you get to see it. The violinist was Angus Wakeling and you can see us perform Barefoot Sublime Live on youtube.

There are also Barefoot Sublime T Shirts out so if you felt the urge to rock the little baloon man that would be rad! I will release more news on Barefoot Sublime when it lands in itunes and amazon! Thanks to all of you that read this and support me.

I was interviewed for a documentary earlier in the year after a gig in Grahamstown. Turns out that the documentary was shown on MTV last week which is pretty rad! So I have been on MTV now! hehe, rad.

So tracks are now available for download in SA at Rhythm Records. This week I am writing music for a new cartoon by American Artist Hannah Morris (She designed both my album covers) so that is exciting. Then this weekend I am off to Zambia to work on a documentary shoot for the  (Red) campaign with legendary music video director Lance Bangs. The shoot is on the effectiveness of Anti-retrovirals on HIV patients so it will be very heavy but an important project to show the world. I am very excited, but very nervous at the same time.

Barefoot Sublime is now recorded and mixed and I am going to find a mastering engineer and then will release the track on my website. When I get back from the shoot in a couple weeks it is back onto the music for the cartoon and then hopefully some more shows and more music. I have a plan. fan me on facebook too for more instant updates!

South Africans are gonna teach the world a thing or two about staying out of debt! So grab them now, or get my personal favorite song Smell That Song from the Rhythm Records store for 7 rand. That's less than a pie and it will last longer too! hmmm pie.

At the Organics Alive show on Sunday Eve the Sound Engineer (Conrad) came up to me after the show and said how much he enjoyed it (thanks Conrad). He said that he books artists for a festival in Mozambique and asked if I would be interested to play next year. So it looks like I will get to play on the beach in Mozambique in May next year. What an amazing opportunity! I will tell more when I know.
