Little boy: Oh look at the sun. It is looking very tasty. May I have a bite?
Mum: No! How many times must I tell you that the sun is dangerously hot.
Little boy: But it is so big and yellow, and warm. Please mum. Please.
Mum: Alright dear, but only one bit. Don't forget about the poor people in Africa.

Hello everyone and happy sunshine!
We have returned to our village of sin after having spent 18 days or so in Sweden.
Somewhere in a beautiful forest on a beautiful mountain by a beautiful lake, in a studio called Silence Studios, we recorded the foundation to our debut album. This is how the studio looks.

Anyway, what this means is that we have recorded the drums, the bass and the guitars for all of the songs. Apart from that we recorded a few vocal tracks, a bit of organ, and funny sounds in general that would not be found anywhere else in the world.
We feel that we have managed to keep a lot of the live feeling that we wanted on the album, and the material we ended up with is to us very promising and satisfactory.
We can't wait to continue the recordings at Lydkraft Studiet in Odense.
We learned a lot about sound on our trip and we can't wait to try and use some of this knowledge at our concerts.
That's why you have to come to one of our next gigs.
It will be a new Waking Life with the old energy intact. We promise.
Our first show will be at Studenterhuset May the 8th. It is a party friday :)
We are also playing at this years Spot Festival on the 22nd of May and at Start! Festival on June the 5th.
If you come we might tell you the story, from our trip to Sweden, of how Asp was cornered by a bear on a mountain and was considering jumping over the edge when he was rescued by a wolf dressed as a rhino.

You cannot see the bear or the wolf (dressed as a rhino) on the picture, but you can see Asp and probably also see that he is looking at the bear coming right for him.
Love
Waking Life
