So......it's been a long time since there has been any real activity with us. We haven't played many shows in a while but we're still here.
We've been writting new songs. our goal is 6 and we have 4.
Anybody that knows us knows that we are a really slow writting machine. We've always been like that and I cant see it changing.
We are super stoked for the new songs that we have! We think it's some of our best material to date.
Hopefully sooner than later we will have all 6 songs written and recorded for everyone to hear.

Check back often as it shouldn't be long now!

Peace out home slices...

Sup, Sup.

This is going to be straight forward simply because im way too lazy to type right now, my hand are all clawed up from jerking off all day. Lets start off with some bigger news. Since we have been a band, we have been very open to trying new things and experimenting with our music. We have came to realize that something is missing in our band. Yell The Burden is currently seeking a vocalist to fill that void! Do you have it takes to be the frontman of this ridiculous operation? Here is a list of our requirements in no particular order....

Must be 19+
Must have source of transportation
Must be willing to pitch in and pay for a jam hall and any other band related things
Must be willing to jam on a fluxuating schedule.
Must not be a drug addict or drunk
Must be able to have a wide range of vocal style (someone that can sing, scream, etc)
Must be within the Tri Cities (Cambridge/Guelph/Kitchener)
Must be able to solve a rubix cube in 10 minutes (optional)

If you are interested please check out our myspace at [www.myspace.com] or you can email us at fromthevillage@gmail.com . If you have any music of yours that you could share with us that would be fantastic as well!

So yeah thats pretty self explanitory :)

Next, we will be receiving a review on a track on our new album, Pangenesis so keep your eyes peeled for that.

And last but not least......GRAB A COPY OR PANGENESIS, IT WILL MELT YOUR ASS OFF! (wow)

Shows would also be appreciated too.

Thanks everyone for reading

So it's been a while since there has been any news on our new cd. But nevAr fear!

The artwork is almost complete and it looks SICK! We can't wait to share it with everyone. Our buddy Matt Ashwood has done a wonderful job on it so far.

We have named our first full length, Pangenesis.

We have not decided on a date in which it will be released but we have picked a month.

March 08.

So just a few more weeks and then it will be ready for sale. It will also be available to buy online from our myspace page once it is ready.

We'll keep it posted once we pick a date.

Protest The Hero, Battle of the bands!

Sunday Dec 9 at SHADOW in Guelph we, Yell The Burden, and 7 other bands are going to battle it out to the death!

The winner of this awesome battle will have the most gnarly opportunity to open up for the almighty Protest The Hero at their Club Vinyl show Dec 20 with These Silhouettes.

We really want to win this so we need the support of all our friends and fans.

Info for the show is under the show section on our myspace.

It is a Sunday night but that doesn't mean shit! We would come to your funeral if it was on a Sunday!

We hope to see lots of people there chearing us on.

Yes, it is true. I know it's all anyones been able to talk about for the last couple months. The hype is bigger than hype itself. 10 tracks clocking in at just over 30 mins that were designed specially to rip heads off and shit down throats. You be the judge. If we disapoint you and you think our songs suck then you get to kick Chad in the balls.

On a serious note...we're very excited to have our first full length that we can call our own. New tracks will be up in two weeks.

Signing off.
