You have not paid close enough attention.
You have not been listening.
While you were high, while you were drunk, while you used these substances to hide your own feelings inadaquacy.
While you fucked.  While you pretended to be the worst kind of predator.  You were making yourself prey to disease, addiction, and lethargy.
You were actually sleeping.

You were becoming "The Man" you say so many things about.

While "The Man" was sleeping and repairing his body from all the toxins he poured into it.  While His rubber band was waiting to bounce back.  He was expecting someone else to clean up the mess.

He assumed of course that this is what art was about.

And he made nothing.
