Hey Icewinders!
 
What's up? Here's Jay taking sometimes to give you some hints about the Icewind situation.
 
Second album production is now completely done!!! Finally... :P We got the last mastering and we all think that's THE shit! Huge, clear and defined sound! Wooooow!!! Thanks to Luc Boivin (Red Tube Studio), Rodney Mills and Matt at Rodney Mills Masterhouse.  They put Icewind tone to a higher level and we wouldn't have been able to release a "bigger than life" album like that one without their precious help!  That's the best shit we came out with since the debut of Icewind a couple of years ago. More mature, more "in the face"... more of what Icewind is all about!
 
But don't worry, we won't boycott our old stuff!!! We still like All Is Dust as much as this new baby, but in a different way. AID as some killers and we'll continue to play half of that album live! As parents of 2 albums, we won't left the older brother alone!
 
A little word about the cover art... We asked Jan Meininghaus (Dream Evil, Falconer, Burning Point, etc.) to do the cover of our upcoming album... all I can say is that he just did what we had in mind!!! A masterpiece!
 
We have now started the hunt for a label. We aim a high quality label that will be able to distribute our album all over the world! We want that album in every fucking store of the MILKY WAY! Understand? We want each person that pronouces the "Icewind" word to have the album and shit all over the place! Not that we want to be rich or something... the most important thing for us, cheesy as it can sounds, is that we want you, the fans, to be able to get the album as easy as it should be... like my mother who goes to the store to buy a Celine Dion album... how does that sound?
 
And what does "selling albums" mean? It means that Icewind we'll be able to "world tour" and play in your neighborhood in every corner of this planet... We can't wait to meet you on the road and we'll do anything we can to make it happen!!!!
 
We know it's hard these days... Music business is free falling, but we have something big in our hands and we hope that the industry leaders we'll share our idea.
 
So, all said... I can't speak more for now... No title, no release date, no cover art, not even a tiny fucking sample!!! We will wait about the answer of the "big ones" and see what will be the different possibilies... We boil at the idea of showing you some stuff, but as the word "Exclusivity" seems to be more important than religion in that industry, we have to keep it top secret for now!
 
We know that you understand that situation and we are very thankful... Don't worry, Icewind won't disappoint you! You are all we have and we want to keep you in the adventure!
