It's time to get our fuzzy wuzzy asses up and leave the cave. No more livin' off of stored body fat. We got lots of new shows posted including a 6 show (with one more in the works) SXSW marathon weekend with a Fort Worth finish line. It ain't exactly a Phil Collins continent hopping on a Concorde kind of accomplishment, but it's pretty good for a minivan. So if you're going to SXSW, do try to catch one of our 5(or 6) free shows. We'll be playing all around Texas throughout April and May and then it's tour time. Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Columbus, Chicago and Minneapolis in June and then we head west to LA, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Reno, and Phoenix in July. If any of you kind folks in or near these places can help us book a venue or a house party please contact us here or at info@theaterfire.com. Oh yeah, videos. We got lots of 'em. Now posted here for your amusement. Including our latest- Uncle Wayne - which we sneak previewed last summer. For now, take care and don't let the elevators bring you down. Take the stairs. -TTF

I'm sure the free internet translator hacked it up, but, ladies and gentlemen... I give you the best record review ever: "A first graphic hnung learned the theater fire in klienicum here. Only two mp3s, but at least a reference to a band, which is now their third album at the start has. a band, the au? Erdem quite outstanding in the portfolio that fits blogs. "Matter and light" hei? t of the current ejection since the siebeners operating in 1995. then the company was still under the moniker vena cava and formed about the subsequent years to a full event, which gradually rose band members? en. f? leads with these instruments to allow the reader inclined (also) a first (musical) picture. zun? grows, we don Feagin songwriter who, together with bassist Mark Castaneda, the gr? ndungsmitglieder represents. The two were added by the horn, percussion, harp player jesse brake field, the songwriter curtis heath, the pedal-steel-bells-banjo-guitar player sean french, the drummer Nick Prendergast and closing? including the horn-piano-percussionist james talambas . Together we tried, it surprised a change in the sound and then was called for. The theater fire was born and brought then in 2003 the selftitled debut album out (in mountain records christmas). "Matter and light" contain? lt fourteen times challenging song material, in its virtuosit? tonnes, in its consistently high qualit? t and its diversity? t his equal. especially hard to find related style will be. where the theater should also fire-proof? So you see, American blogs... That's how it's done.

As we have just returned to our beloved Lone Star State after forays up and down the East and West Coasts, one is tempted to wax sentimental about the events of said adventures. I have decided to give in to this temptation. These fall tours have been the most inspiring, surprising and rewarding experiences in the band's history. Many thanks to our kind and gracious hosts in each beautiful city. Thanks as well to the amazing venues that invited us to play, and to the incredible bands we were lucky enough to share the stage with. Truly and sincerely, thanks a million.

We've decided to postpone the tours until fall. We've started booking dates in Brooklyn for 10/17 and Athens for 10/19. We're still looking for a venue in Chicago for 10/16 so any help is appreciated.
Our first trip to the west coast will be in late November. We've got LA down for 11/19 and San Francisco for 11/20 or 11/21. Our good friend Levi Fuller is helping us with a show in Seattle for that weekend, and we also hope to play in Portland before we trek back home.
We'll have more details soon...

That's right. The new CD "Matter And Light" will be available at live shows starting in July and then online, instores, and under scrutiny sometime in the fall. We've got some new tracks up here and in the jukebox at theaterfire.com
We're hitting the road this summer. Athens, Brooklyn, St Louis, and Chicago lookout for TTF in mid July. Then the not-so-young men head west to LA, San Francisco, Portland, And Seattle in mid August. Watch for more info.
We also have a video for "Uncle Wayne" from the new CD. It stars Jonathan Tucker and Angela Bettis, was directed by Brent Hanley, and shot by Kevin Ford of Mo-freek productions. It'll be up here soon.
