hey all, i wanted to take this slightly boring moment in my life to break from watching ghost hunters and write i nice FAT BLOG! we've been keeping our bodies in motion during this time off the road to write and record demos for a new record, soon to be titled. (soon to be titled not being the name, just literally saying, we're sealing the deal.) Today however, we can't do much of anything, because the CITY OF SAN DIEGO came by, represented by a young lady, and gave us their business card. to show they mean business. it seems the neighbors do not support the arts, and according the young lady, drums shall not be played in the house anymore. the city of san diego is no fun. but i'm staying postive, because we can move this operation to justin's parents house, which has a pool. not to mention, we leave in a few days to play a few shows in some of my favorite cities, with one of my favorite bands. check out the tour dates for info, we'll be hitting up tuscon, vegas, and san luis obsipo, and playing new songs. :) which is nice. and if you want, after the show i plan on taking pictures for a new photoblog so we can all remember the good times. like this time...

Hello.
How is everyone? We are doing alright. Justin is recovering very quickly. We practiced yesterday with a new bass player. His name is Dave. He will be playing with us in May and June. We have also been very busy writing new material. If your coming out to any of the shows we have booked, you will hear a couple of them.

We have not played a show since 12/2/06. That is crazy. Our first show back will be a headlining home show on May 3rd. We are very stoked about this show. If your from San Diego or live close, we'd love to see you at this show. Here is all the info, and please check out the other two awesome bands playing.

Hello everyone,
The last week has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. I had my 21st bday, had a 3 day trip to the hospital, watched an ungodly amount of tv, learned a few pedro the lion songs on guitar and ate a lot of girl scout cookies. Let my elaborate.....
Last friday i woke up around 6 a.m. to go to the restroom and during that time i felt extremely dizzy and on the verge of throwing up. Next thing i knew i was on the ground in the corner of my bathroom with my dad asking me what happened with a look of concern o his face. Five minutes later i was on a stretcher in an ambulance on my way to the hospital. I was in ER for most the day and was then transfered to neurology later that afternoon. I had a number of tests done including a cat scan, M.R.I and E.A.G. The tests showed signs of past seizures, a bruise on the left side of my brain and an irregular vein in the front of my brain. The doctors also told me i had a condition (sinco sincapi?) where my heart doesnt pump enough blood to my brain when i stand up making me more prone to passing out. So now im on 2 medications: one for the heart condition and one for seizures.
Its been a week since all of this happened and Im recovering rather well. The meds make me sleepy but other than that I'm doing a lot better. Here are some pictures from my trip to the hospital.











Thanks to everyone that showed there support and concern for me through all this. I wish we were in the van right now on tour with our good friends moneen but shit happens. In the meantime we will continue writing for our new record and will have something for you to listen to in the near future. Conor and I want to put up an acoustic version of a song off oliver under the moon. Let us know what you wanna hear unplugged. Thanks again friends
