That’s right, after 4 years in the hunting NSB finally wins Best Radio Station award at 2008 Breakspoll International Breakbeat awards.

Big love goes out to all the voters, listeners, djs, friends and supporters of the station who all come together to make this possible. Thank you very much!

Onwards and upwards!

Here’s Ash and Jim looking rather chuffed and a selection of our Djs enjoying chowing down on the award!

Sneaker and The Dryer a.k.a. (Dj Red Echo and Dj Btz) Have been rocking the decks for a combined 16 years. Their name originated when they first started turning wax, their friends used to say, "Its the sneaker in the dryer", cause they sounded like someone threw a sneaker "IN" the dryer. After some time, with their grown maturity and confidence behind the decks, the duo no where near sounded like that, so they replaced the, "in" with "and", and formed Sneaker & The Dryer.

With heaps of gigs under their belts, alongside many well known Djs in and out of breaks, and a busy schedule ahead, these two are the hottest most hard working breaks djs in New England. They never fail to light the floor afire with their super high energy sets, and extensive track selection including their own works.
Watch out for this duo as they work their way to a city near you, dropping the hottest, funkiest, break beat bombs and get ready to......

Sneaker & The Dryer are live every Friday night from 10-12 on www.NSBRadio.co.uk!! (check timetable for local times)

Current mood:  accomplished

Search the entire globe for the top two biggest bassline fanatics and
you will surely come face to face with Canada's Destroyerz. Ten year
breakbeat artist and veteran soldier of the underground N.U.D.L.Z. and
the freshest female face in the breakbeat game MILITIA are the duo that
comprises the most enthusiastic and unrelenting nu skool showcase in the
universe. Since they met two years ago these two little monsters have
become an inseperable force to be reckoned with. Not only are they
professional disk jockeys, but they are respected producers - NUDLZ is
also ranked in the top of the industry's best breakbeat vocalists. The
onstage chemistry between breakbeat's most popular couple is beyond
words.. unforgettable energy that is so positive and unpretentious -
overloaded with relentless mixing and cutting of the most modern sounds
in the hardcore breakbeat scene. Nowadays you can hear The Destroyerz
live on the air every week on www.nsbradio.co.uk the top breaks internet
radio station in the world!
