The Pistols at Dawn and Madtown Vipers are gonna blow the roof off of the locker room for a special halloween costume show.

If you have ever seen the pistols or any other bands that Tim has been in when they used projectors and lighting switchers and stuff like that, and you thought it added to the experience instead of distracting you from the music, then this is the show for you my friend.

Show starts at 8:30 is 21+ (sorry kids) and it's free
Come on time and check out MADTOWN VIPERS a new side project with Matt singing and playing bass, and with Tim on guitar and doing some backups.
Its like what if Mitch Ryder played bass in the Replacements doing Ramones and other  great rust belt songs, kind of like a madison chapter of Detroit Cobras if you will.

A 'real' website.

Well it will be when it grows up. I did it all this afternoon/evening/night and need to sleep so the juicy sections will have to wait. So, just in case you lost my email address, there it is.

Also, if you haven't checked out madtownlounge.com please do. It's a social networking site (eg. myspace) but based around Madison. The Pistols at Dawn at madtownlounge.com

Sorry about the ugly, standard myspace profile. Myspace changed its code so the old css I wrote is no good any more. Stay tuned for a brand-spankin-new profile layout, as well as a new 'real' website at http://www.thepistolsatdawn.net

As promised months ago, here's two new tracks. They'll be up as soon as myspace is done "processing." These were recorded at Smart Studios here in Madison. Due to popular demand we're pre-releasing a demo cd-r containing more tracks from Smart Studios as well as some from DNA Studios. Contact any one of us if you'd like a copy.

Howdy all you pistoleers in computer land! We're back from touring the midwest. It took a lot of beer and some over drafted bank accounts but we made it.

We had an especially good time in Michigan. We played a great show in Lansing at Mac's bar with Brutalitar and Tahquamenon Falls. A huge thanks to everyone at The House of Our Lord 1994 for providing lodging and an awesome party. In Detroit, Scrummage University rocked our world with the best audience we've seen yet. If anyone is in Detroit and can catch a Scrummage show, do whatever you can to do so. You won't be disappointed.

Twin Peaks is now on the front page for your listening enjoyment. Twin Peaks and Couch Surfing represent the DNA Studios half of our upcoming record. We will have two more tracks coming from Smart Studios in the near future so stay tuned!

Two new songs up. Both are previews from our upcoming album. They represent the DNA Studios half of the record. We hope you like 'em.

For the record: Road Rash had 3903 plays and Surf Monster ended with 629

Stay tuned for two more songs when we return from touring!

It's only been a couple weeks since we finished mixing the first half of our upcoming record at DNA Studios. We moved production to Smart Studios for the second half and the results are fantastic. It won't be long before we'll have LPs, CDs, and cassette tapes (yep, tapes, no digital intermediate) for your listening enjoyment.

With that in the works, this Friday we're kicking off our first tour with a show at Mr. Roberts with the Stevedores. It will be a blast, bring your friends. We return from touring on July 15th to play the High Noon Saloon's First Annual Rock&Roll Buffet. It's a 7 band festival showcasing Madison's local music scene.

The fest starts at 4pm and goes on till midnight, with bingo games between sets. 18+ are allowed and the cover is $7. For $1 a band that's better than renting a video!

More info check out: http://www.myspace.com/highnoonrockbuffet

Oh yeah, watch some fireworks and have a happy independance day!
