Hey Everyone!
What an ENORMOUS and awesome batch of records we have for you this week! So many great packages by amazing bands… Enjoy!
The first record this week, which is undoubtedly the RECORD OF THE WEEK is the new triple gatefold LP from the almighty CLUTCH!! With a diecut cover, a semi-gloss jacket with foil embossing, and two silver foil-printed innersleeves, this one takes the cake!!! On top of all that, check out the ultra clear vinyl, as this is a double LP. The record also comes in "Beer", "Milky Clear and Beer A Side/ B Side", and "Beer and Milky Clear A Side/ B Side" vinyl.... Amazing! Keep up the insane work, dudes!

Hey Everyone!
We hope you all had a great Holiday full of records and music galore! While there has been an absence of shipments the last few weeks, we have been busy plugging away preparing for the New Year here at the office. Luckily for all of you, this week brought a slew of awesome vinyl for you to feast your eyes on!
First up is this week is a repress of the awe-inspiring progressive metal masterpiece by Georgia’s MASTODON. From Warner Brothers comes the latest LP by these experimental metal titans entitled “Crack the Skye”, featuring artwork by the one and only Paul Romano. If you haven’t picked up your copy yet, what are you waiting for?!

HELLS HEADBANGERS is always reliable for a quality, slick looking heavy metal release, and this one is no exception! The band is PERVERSOR and the record is “Demon Metal”…. Pretty awesome. Featuring a semi gloss jacket and a ten page fold out booklet, this trasher of an album is one for your collection! The vinyl options are traditional black and half and half transparent red and gray. Nice!

Last but not least is the impressive new gatefold 7” from New York’s FUN. Featuring frontman Nate Reuss from THE FORMAT, this colorful package includes a CD version of the two songs inside the jacket, as well as printed lyrics on the right panel. Entitled “At Least I’m Not as Sad (As I Used to Be), this is HIGHLY recommended to fans of THE FORMAT or power-pop in general. Don’t sleep on this!

Lots of awesome records in this week!! It’s been crazy around here, but this week’s RECORD OF THE WEEK blog will give you some idea of what we’ve been up to!
First up this week is the intense assortment of vinyl options for CONVERGE’s new record, “Axe to Fall”, which will be available soon via Deathwish Inc!! Check out all of these awesome configurations, including splatters, tri-colors, and our new shape-infused clear vinyl!!

We don’t usually feature CDs, but this one both a) came out great and b) features some very good friends of the Pirates here in San Francisco!! The Bay Area’s legendary WALKEN has just released this brand new self-titled CD, go pick it up at one of their shows now!!

This record from AVENGER was printed on a matte single insert jacket and includes a multiple-page booklet as well as ultra clear vinyl!! Nice!!

Last but certainly not least is the new record entitled “Blue Record” by Georgia’s Progressive Metal titans BARONESS! Available soon on Relapse, this was pressed on green, blue and black vinyl inside a matte gatefold jacket and printed insert. A little bird told us that there might be a special version coming down the pipe as well, so keep your eyes peeled!! This will surely be a favorite for all you metalheads, don’t miss out!

Another week of amazing records!! Thank you so much for all of your orders and support, it is crazy hectic over here we but we love it!!
Starting it off this week is Pirates Press Records’ very own new release by Sweden’s SMALLTOWN! This record is simply amazing, and features an awesome diecut jacket with two vinyl options of red or A Side B Side orange/red! This record features 4 originals and 3 covers, including an amazing cover of Elvis Costello's "Radio Radio"!! Don’t miss out on this!!

This week we have an ENORMOUS amount of amazing records! We have been slammed over here, so we apologize for the delay in blogging!
Starting it off is a new gatefold package from Neurot Recordings, from the band A STORM OF LIGHT. This beast features 4 different vinyl configurations, and really awesome artwork, check this out!

First up this week is literally,
the HEAVIEST record ever made.
The band is DESTRUKTOR, the record is “NAILED”, and is made out of PURE
FUCKING METAL! No joke
folks, this is a first for us here at Pirates Press, and the product came out
amazing!
HELLS HEADBANGERS also pressed a
gatefold version of the record as well, being that the metal version only
features a picture disc. This also
came out great!!
