Suits and gowns make me uncomfortable. This is well-documented, as I have written about it before. Still, sometimes it's necessary to put my best foot -- and wardrobe options -- forward and play by the game.

This past Valentine's Day, I was called upon once again to do exactly that at the Equality California anniversary gala. The adventure becomes the root of the latest edition of The Glamazon Diaries, my weekly column in The San Francisco Bay Times newspaper. Read all about it now!

OMG! Really?!? I seriously danced with Cyndi F'n Lauper?!

Not until I watched this YouTube video did I realize how SELDOM I smiled while onstage with Cyndi Lauper.

Don't be fooled! I was happy as a clam to be there. I was also in excruciating pain. The night before, I stubbed my toe so hard in the dressing room of The Golden Girls: The Christmas Episodes, I could barely stand in those fierce 7-inch stilettos Kevin Aviance sent me. Either way, I was overjoyed to share the stage with a legendary performer. Now take a look at the performance!

Last night, a whole slew of us girls got to have plenty of fun with the legendary Cyndi Lauper. The Grammy-winning singer -- who is again nominated this year -- brought her latest hits and some old favorites to San Francisco for the Energy 92.7 FM Anniversary Blast.

Though the video quality isn't the best, at least you can watch Cyndi and us dance, sing and have a great time for the thousands in attendance. We come on late in the game -- 6:10 -- but it's here. Take a look!
