So, we've been a little hiatus lately, writing new material and recording when possible. However, we are hitting the stage in the next few months to show you all we're still kickin' and to debut some new tunes. The dates of the upcoming shows are as follows:
April 18th - CBRs - Columbus, OH- w/ The Host (cincy), Ardor, and Sleepers Awake! This will be a kick ass show and we hope to see you all there!


In May, we will be playing 2 shows (as of now).
May 22nd - Billiard Club - B133 Birthday Bash - Columbus, OH - with a slew of great bands TBA!
May 23rd - Ruby Tuesdays -Columbus, OH - with our friends in Big Nasty!

So come out and hear some great music and help keep the scene alive!

We were just added to the PHILO CD release show on Dec. 1st at Skully's Diner in Columbus (see flyer). We will be playing round 7pm, so get there early! You may also hear a brand new POM tune this night! 

Pets or Meat and guitarist Dan Larson have parted ways. Anyone that has seen us in the past year knows who Dan is and knows that he pushed POM to a new level with endless promotion and great live shows. But, Dan has many things on life's plate that he wants to pursue and we wouldn't want to stand in the way of this. POM wish him the best on everything.
On that note we would like to re-introduce you all to JC Young, the original guitarist for POM. JC has rejoined the band and we are excited to get things moving forward once again. As some of you already know, JC co-wrote and recorded the majority of POM's music stemming back to 1998 when the band officially formed. Expect some great things on the horizon as we are preparing to create some of our most fierce music to date.
Come to the Fus-a-tron show at The House of Crave (tix for $5 from us!) and welcome JC back to the band. Get in touch with us for more info!

For making the CD release a big success! We had a nice size crowd and all the bands were great that night. We moved a nice volume of merch too, which just proved to us that you guys have been craving the full length CD! So we thank you for your patience and we hope it was worth the wait. We're sorry we couldn't give more merch away but we're trying to raise money to fund a bigger run of CDs (with slightly changed art work) and a new T-shirt design to go along with the release of "The Great American Dumb Down". So watch for that coming really soon. Also watch for some new shows to be posted this week and some other breaking news to be announced.

Well the CD is finally done and will be in our hands next week just in time for the CD release party at CBR's (503 S Front St. Columbus, OH) on Friday, Aug 17th. Also joining us that night will be Scene of the Crime, Davenporte, and Mayavirupa! So get there early and enjoy a full evening of great music.  We really need your support for this show so if you like our music (or Ski-pop that we will have on hand as well) then stop out and hang with us.
We will also be vandalizing the Blitz studios this week with Hannibal so check out the local show this sunday night (8/12/07 - 10pm - 99.7 WBZX) to hear some of the new tracks from "The Great American Dumb Down". Thanks for all of the support and patience, we love you all!

Just wanted to let you all know that we have moved our CD release party at CBR's in Columbus, OH from saturday Aug. 18th to Friday Aug. 17th. (lineup is still pending) So we hope to see many of you there! We may also have a southern Ohio release party in early Sept. somewhere in our area so watch for that as well. Also, we are going to be at the OMFG fest (hosted by 99.7's Hannibal) in Mt. Vernon on July 14th and we desperately need to sell some tix for this event. Things are moving along nicely on the CD and we have now confirmed an August 18th CD release date at CBR's in Columbus, OH. For now you can hear a few samples of the newer tracks right here on Myspace. Let us know what ya think!
On a side note, come out to the 4th Annual Doorslammer at the Farm this weekend and party for 2 whole days! 2 stages, 25 bands (POM plays saturday at 11pm), food vendors, camping, etc. Should be a blast. Get directions and info HERE!

We are currently mixing the new CD with our friend Ron Forrest in Logan, OH. Things are moving along nicely and we are now shooting for a July/Aug release. We're planning a CD release party as well so stay tuned for details. We'll may also have a new track posted in the next few weeks for you all to check out. Thanks as always for the support!
