Current mood: optimistic
It's nice when eccentricity is valued, particularly among your peers. I was flattered to see myself quoted in this month's BookConnector newsletter, and to see that I am not alone in finding quirky ways to meet customers.

So you read Won't Get Fooled Again, love my go-getter attitude, and wonder, "What's next?" Here's how you can fill that emptiness inside you:
• You know how Myspace asks "What's your favorite book?" It only takes a few seconds to type Won't Get Fooled Again!
• Post a review at Amazon, but please please try to keep the KISS references to a minimum, or don't mention the painted ones at all. God knows I love KISS, but as I'm infiltrating the mainstream market, I don't want people mistakenly thinking I wrote *about* KISS. I just happen to have a protagonist with exceptionally good taste.
• Do you have your own website? I have sexy banners you could add at www.kissfiction.com/bannerads.html
Go forth and help a worthy writer.

Current mood: relieved
So, one minute, I'm minding my own business, and the next, DJ Josh Hatcher calls. Within an hour, I'm the guest of his talk radio show in Bradford PA. I guess this is how the promotional world works. It was seat-of-your-pants fun! The good news is, I had posted my press kit only two days earlier, complete with interview questions for journalists, so I wasn't surprised by too many questions. As I was re-doing my website, I thought, "Who is actually going to use this?" Now I know. It's good to be prepared.
