I wonder if anyone..s reading this blog.
To be honest I dont care, I just love to write.
Today I..m going to tell you about a huge misstake we made.

A couple of months ago, we were in the rehearsal room Trixing&mixing.
We made some good changes and some bad....

When you..re in the rehearsal-R every song tend to feel a bit slower than "normal".
That we should have learned by now!
But we increased the tempo on the song Doors. It felt like a right thing to do.

A few weeks later we came to the studio, put down the drum-tracks. And everything was great.
Then it was time to record the bass.
When Haddock had played the first bars of Doors, the whole band felt that something was off.
The tempo was way too fast for the song!.
Somehow we..d manage to increase the tempo with 8bmp.
For thoose of you that dont know anything about BPM, thats quite alot.
But our drummer/engineer,after some struggling, fixed the promblem.


the whole experience made us feel like amateurs, but hey we are all human.
So the lesson for today is
1. A song always feel slower live and in the rehearsal room.
2. Be on top of the B.p.m
3. tune your bass(Haddock
4. Eat
5. come to campus friday, and listen to some great rock music.
6. save money
7. GET RICH OR DIE TRYING!

As you all can see on our page, we have cancelled the two shows in Göteborg and Växjö.
Even before we said yes to playing I knew it would be a race against time.
With all our focus on getting the album done there..s just no time for rehearsal, and we need to rehears!
We want to come back faster, harder scooter. In order to do that we need more time.
Sorry for the inconvenience that we may have caused.
And catch us live at the first gig in almost a year.....

Friends and foes

Im in the studio looking over my pathetic excuse for a laptop, watching Haddock rocking with the bass. I just heard this new nickname for our bass player-Haddock- because of his black thick bierd and skills on the sea. We..re done with the drums and now it..s time for Haddock to shine.

Earlier today when Johan and Haddock was starting up the session, Hagen and I drove in to the city to meet up with our manager Magnus. Jakob took the bus from his soon to be old apartment and met us there.
Magnus arrived with his family- a wife a son and a slave. We did not talk so much to the wife and son, but the slave was quite chatty.
The five of us had a long conversation about the future of animasola, and everyone was drinking beer,everyone but me,EVEN THE SLAVE!
I had to settle for coffee. Beacuse someone had to drive back to the studio, and Hagen has no license and Jakob is just too self-centered.

Well thats all for me this time.

And by the way, The slaves name is Pata. Magnus new extrasetofhands and an old friend of ours.
We..re very excited to start working with BOTH of them!
And Jakob is no way near self-centered, he was just thirsty.

We..ve been writing new songs and making pre-prods for our upcoming gramophone record. It will include some old tracks and a bunch of amazing new ones.
In about two weeks we will enter the studio to start the drum-rec.
I can..t wait to sit in the studio couch, looking through the glass and seeing a sweaty Johan, playing like there..s no tomorrow.
