Its 03.30 & I've been on my lonesome for just over 24 hours, as Synners is away to a wedding in Poland, my lady type is in Brighton for a birthday party and my day to day kinfolk are other wise engaged or doing something i cant afford and am probably too miserable to partake in. Now 24 hours may not seem like all that long but its decades in Stig years, there's nothing i hate more than un occupied solo time, due for the most part, to the ensuing onslaught of introspective and bullshit tangents firing off at a hundred miles an hour and plaguing my head like a 3am neighbours house or car alarm that just WONT STOP FUCKING RINGING... I've rinsed Guitar Hero (but cant complete the last 2 songs on HARD setting as I'm incapable of such high speed hand/eye co-ordination so my creepers just seize up like I'm throwing gang signs) and as is the way with most things in my life if at first i don't succeed try one or two times more then think fuck it and leave it for weeks. I've watched them squeeze every last drop out of over dramatised human interest stories on "America's Got Talent", my lowest point being when i realised i was watching an adult male twirling fire batons to a backing track of Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" and even that hasn't rotted my brain enough to put a stop to the feeling of purgatory like boredom. I have no weed or alcohol to dampen the storm of unproductive shit still raging in my skull, i have no company to burden with my incessant negativity about the very things I'm forced to turn to out of pure despair. I'm OBVIOUSLY too busy to do anything productive like cleaning and I'm incapable of writing any coherent lyrics as I'm totally void of inspiration and as such trapped in a vicious cycle, in which i need to write or do something to alleviate the cancerous tedium eating me from the inside out like a fucking super bug but at the same time I'M TOO BORED TO DO SO. So instead Ive taken to writing about the problem in the vein hope that by focusing on the issue i will somehow cancel it out like a double negative. I WAS WRONG... fortunately tho after writing I WAS WRONG my phone went and after a lengthy conversation ranting about how shit my evening has been its now about time to watch some porn and sleep (assuming I'm not still clicking links in 4 hours).. now think of all the things you could have don't while you were procrastinating and reading this utter waffle. Usually when i write my rants they're about some trivial shit that annoys me and its mainly for jokes.. but this rant is a little different... some of the content is quoted from articles and support posts...

For those of you who dont know.... Dark along with 8 other members of the DPM Graff crew have all been convicted on charges of criminal damage & also for the first time in the history of Graffiti culture a charge of conspiracy to criminal damage. 3 have been sentenced to 18 months, One member "NEAS" faces 2 years, one faces 15 months and the remaining 4 were given extended sentences with community service.

This is an attempt by the courts to make an example of these artist to deter artist in the future.. It wont work. Remembering a quote from Style Wars, "It's like a Virus", Graffiti will not stop, it is a culture with a strong heritage This sentencing will only serve to bring further notoriety to the artist that make up the DPM crew. Our thoughts are with them, we will support them fully through their time inside. This is an injustice, a waste of public sector money & will not serve as a deterrent. It will in fact be counter productive from that in which the court hopes to achieve. This will not deter artist it will only give them new martyrs. So saying this, well done DPM on your success, galleries await, press await, the biography, TV appearances etc.. the system is flawed and we shall exploit it until people see sense.

Our recommended alternative: Use all of this money (or even a fraction of it) already currently being thrown at the BTP (British Transport Police), Buffering (Cleaning paint of trains), Court charges, Legal Fee's and any other cash being wasted on their little cat & mouse game right now and put it into commissioning the worlds leading artist to paint masterpieces for these trains. The standard will be immense. The art can reflect the varying taste of the artist and the city. Artist and the "Privatized" train companies can even profit together via sponsorship deals incorporating the artist work. (We are already staring at advertising all day every day, why not utilize the talents around us?).. Seeing art of such a standard will also have an effect on the developing artist, they will have inspiration, and with inspiration the art form will improve. Graffiti is here to stay, Jailing artist is no solution, Graffiti doesn't even necessarily need to be a problem, there are issue's that need to be addressed but locking up artist and branding them as vandals is no way to address these issues.

In my oppinion the sooner the old ass blue blooded cunts who run this country realise the majrity of graffiti is done by none violent ppl and stop equating Graff Artists with the knife wielding 14 yr olds who scare the living shit out em (but again they have never met face to face) the better.. no one expects Graffiti Artists to go un punished, just that the punishment reflects the crime... and with the sentences handed out to violent criminals and nonces who show continual threat to the public getting minor terms of incarceration i think its clear the sentences handed out to DPM are beyond excessive.

Now im sure im walking into looking like a prize cunt, but being as thats my territory who gives a fuck.. As rappers we all have a little ego and a little geek inside of us, we are all obsessed with bars and the opportunity to relay them to others, ), especially other MC's, i reckon in order to be good at anything you have to be obsessed with it (at least thats my story n im sticking to it) and i still love cyphering which is essentially the Rappers equivalent to the comic book convention for comic book nerds mixed with the chance to ease a little of that attention seeking desperation that lurks inside all of us mic types. But the 2 things i fucking hate most about Rappers are down to not being able to control that urge and realise theres a time and a place for everything. The first is those over passionate rappers that are unable to see why shouting bars in someones ear, especially mine while in a club is annoying as fuck and its generally without any relevance to conversation.. just let me spit some bars.." blah blah blah" and dont get me wrong ive heard some sick bars because of it, but first of all IM IN A CLUB, ignoring the fact its a social situation and im probably drunk out my mind tryna have fun, they always have to fight to be heard over the sound system which means screaming as loud as possible to be heard. Save it for afterwards outside (theres rarely cyphers outside clubs anymore.. possibly cos every fucker has been screaming their verses inside) or at least wait til your somewhere where your audible.. like in the smoking area (n fuck you non smokers too.. all the cool kids do it ha ha ha us not being able to be all cool indoors is the reason most clubs now smell of arse). As i said im still mad passionate about rapping but that doesnt mean i dont know when its not relevant, when you have to visit your nanna do you scream it at her ?... The 2nd and most annoying of all is these fuckers who decide to pull me aside while im in the middle of a show... or while i stood watching someone elses show and ask if they can get up ??.. NO YOU FUCKING CANT... someone is in the middle if DOING A SHOW !!! and i know as an up n comer you want oppotunities to show case your talent.. we all do/did but thats what open mics are for.. I was supporting Jehst once and some muppet asked if he could jump up and battle the dude while he was in the middle of his set.. why the fuck would he agree to that ??? and why would you pay a fee to see someone perform and want to battle them ?.. The reason he was on stage is because he had been booked after putting mad work in and had earned his stripes.. not because he jumped up in the middle of someone elses set and spat some bars then got booked off the back of it.. We are or have all been in the same position, trying to get heard tryna progress.. One time some kid told me he'd been rapping for 2 weeks and could he jump up n spit some bars as he was dope... TRUST ME after 2 weeks no one wants to fucking hear you.. just because your mam or your boys say your dope doesnt mean its actually true..

As i say 9 times out of 10 im down to stand around n listen or cypher after shows.. but not in the middle fo the fucking show or while someone else is on that im tryna watch.. and if you wanna be on stage either find an open mic or give the promoter a demo and ask for a support slot !!!

To those who have the sense to wait til its appropriate.. big ups.. i look forward to cyphering with you at some point (if i cant as i have to be somewhere dont hate n think its excuses.. sometimes a mother fucker just has to be somewhere)  To those who insist on carrying on dont be offended if i turn around and just tell you to fuck off.. infact do be offended and FUCK OFF..

Like most heads i know when grime first came out i hated it, the beats, the rhymes the lot.. But over the last couple of years, now some Grime cats have been doing it for a while and more n more people are making it so there's healthy competition, there has been a huge improvement, It could be that im just hearing alot more so i get to hear a wider spectrum, but i doubt it as nuff of my ppls have been tryna convince me since day that its dope (big up my beggarfam bretherin Jimmy 2Stars for starters) and too be fair 99.9% of it was utter gash. However of late ive been hearing some REDICULOUS beats and i mean REDICULOUS, dubstep for me is a bit too bass heavy (20minutes of dubstep in a club with a good sub makes me feel sick.. then again it could be the drink !! ha ha) but the lates Grime beats im hearing are biggles perfect combo of heavy bass, snappy snare and skippy tempo.. (..then again it might have always been that way n most of my experiance was from cunts with their phones on bus's). The point is i love some of the beats.. and as a hip hop head for time now i dont see that as negative thing, it all stems from the same seed, Hip-Hop, jungle, Drum n Bass, Grime whatever whatever (just not that gash speed garage theyre repackeging under the name Bassline music.. fucking played out pitched up female vocals sang by some 16yr old girl the producers noncing).. and ive actually started hearing some good MC's not incredible but definately good.. the only MC i would say has moments of being INCREDIBLE is Ghetto.. my man not only has a dope voice and presence but has the skills a proper MC should have, multi's, similies, metaphors, flows.. and Bashy is funny with his too.. but anways, so you know im not just hating like usual. BUT the other day i had to go to a Grime show for work purposes.. not the first ive been too.. (one i went to out of morbid curiosity as i always want to experiance something before i hate on it properly ha ha.. one i was invited to by another MC i knew, got drunk n thought fuck it and went).. now every time i approached the venue's or started out on my journey towards them (at least two of em were in some random building with no sign or obvious club entrance) ive expected it to be dark n dingy, shift eyes and energy similar to old punk shows.. crazy aggression n anarchy.. and infact its the only thing that appealed to me about the shows.. however all 3 have been full of fuckin fash twats in day glo colours and full on Nathan Barley outfits.. the odd gully looking dude on their own surrounded by Vice magazine types with Frankie Says Relax and other gash Slogan T-Shirts.. (im still looking to make a buck off the fuckers at the first opportunity.. those "franky says fuck off t's are still coming.. h aha) There was no agression or punk attitude, nothing grizzle about it.. It was all uber trendy cunts trying to out cool each other, when the live MC's came on you couldnt hear anything they said (not because of a shit sound system.. the sound was dope.. more becuase they had no clue what they were doing so it was probably for the best) and on top of that the audience were too busy checking each other too watch the stage.. There was no raport, no show structure just a bunch of dickhead shouting to another bunch of dickheads while neither showed any interest in the other and all the while THIS dickhead stood with a face like a smacked arse.. im sure theyre are some proper nights with all the atmosphere i was hoping for.. but i cant be fucked to look for em.. and all you fash fucks with your excessive coke habits and daddy's money please cunt off to somewhere else and find the next "thing" to be seen at.. (preferably hip hop if your bringing the coke n cash but thats a beside the piont !!!)

Basically, My Dj (as in i own his bitch ass) has decided to do some regular blog thing on the beer and rap entertainment page (oh yeah MY Dj also runs the lable... which means, he leaves most of the shit to me and takes the credit), so ive decided to do one for no other reason than to steal a little bit of his shine away from him.

Its Sunday and im lyin in my busted up bed, which is busted from all the booling i been doin, cos im a proper fucking stud muffin.. and im still hurting from Friday's show in Southampton.. which was with SonnyJim as Dr  Syntax was being a big gayer in Bristol as the Beggars bitch. Sonny Jim is pretty shit so he made a perfect replacement. The show was ok, sound could have been alot better, and having Newborn's horrid essex lad voice cutting in for adlibs was a bit horrid, but the boy done good and only flopped on one or two..

Then went back to one Newbs' mates houses and stayed in a room which was locked until 5 minutes before i needed to crash, when the host kindly kicked it through (apparently the room's owner wont know... im guessing the fucked door frame wont give it away) drove back to London the next day with Sonny Jim thinking he's Colin Mc fucking Cray and accelerating towards some young mum and her buggy all the time Newborn chatting shit like a 6 year old on the way to a family day out..

Yesterday i munched Nando's... nuff said.. it was a good day..

Today, i gotta go Guildford to rock a show, Synners has been nice enough to join us on this one, possibly as last time we were in Guildford a man fan literally said "Oh my fucking god i love you Synners" and i think he wants to find the dude and get his nob polished... Should be dope tho, apparently Newborn wants us to do some fucking hippy squat job after, but if i see one dude with a gurners on, or some bong eyed girl with shit locks swinging glow sticks on string ill gan crackers... so fuck knows if ill be doin that...
