I've got to rave about my favorite brand of flax seed oil..."Barlean Flax seed oil"... It's the best oil to supplement with for omega 3 fatty acids... there is nothing like it!!!!
Please keep in mind that Flax seed oil must be refrigerated and never heated... it's extremely sensitive to heat and light... so if you see it sold in any light bottle run.... it's crap!!!! Any bottle it's sold in must be pitch black.
If you can't drink a tablespoon of oil, feel free to add it to your oatmeal, your yogurt, your salads, cottage cheese... whatever you want provided it is room temperature or cooler. Whatever you put it in, it will taste 10 times better... especially smoothies or yogurt... wow!!!!!
Fat is necessary for the health and well being of your trillion something cells so... the key is to consume good fats, and experts agree omega 3 fatty acids are nothing short of exceptional...I drink this...it's amazing for your joints... skin... good for a myriad of things... and as far as doctor Perricone's theory of brain breauty connection... It's a must have food!!!
Make sure it's Barlean's!!!!!... it's certified organic pure and unfiltered and cold pressed daily

Goat milk vs cow milk
This is information from one of my favorite health books Patient Heal Thyself. As with all health books you take the info with a grain of salt... know your body and adjust the information to suit it.
65%of the population drinks goat milk...Americans mostly drink cow milk... look at the size of a cow compared to the size of a goat look at the size of Americans compared to the rest of the world...Goat's milk contains less lactose (the type of sugar in milk that many find hard to digest) Whereas cow's milk requires up to three hours to be absorbed, goat's milk requires only twenty minutes. At half the size of those in cows milk, the protein molecules in goat's milk have thinner, more fragile membranes. For that reason, they are easier to absorb through the wall of the small intestines. Other advantages, it is less allergic than cow's milk because it doesn't contain the protein complexes in cow's milk that stimulate allergic reactions. Children who have allergic reactions to cow's milk have seen their allergies improve after switching to goat's milk. It doesn't as readily produce gas or bloating. because goat's milk is digested quickly (two hours and 40 minutes quicker than cow's milk) it doesn't remain in the small intestine and ferment. It contains seven precent less lactose that cow's milk. (some people who are lactose intolerant drink goat's milk no problem) it is high in the medium chain fatty acids that inhibit candida - It is not mucous forming, it is a rich source of selenium. This mineral is believed to be an immuno-regulator. It quickens a sluggish immune system but quiets an overactive one. In this way, selenium keeps the immune system in tune and well balanced.
The goat is the healthiest domestic animal known according to doctor Bernard Jensen. Goat's milk is superior in every way to cow's milk. Goat's milk is the ideal food for babies, convalescents and invalids, especially those with weakened digestive systems. Goat's milk is the purest most healthful and more complete foods known. The fat particles in goat's cream are five times smaller than those in cow's milk and much less hard on the liver, says Dr. Jensen. he adds, goat's milk is sometimes superior to mother's milk, because goat's milk contains food elements that mother's milk does not contain.
On a more personal note, I made a transition from a completely vegan diet to raw organic goat milk, without complications. Many people warned me of diarreah or illness I was about to experience and I experienced none. I attribute my smooth transition to organic raw goat milk and raw goat kefir and raw goat yogurt. It was as if I was drinking it all my life. I also experienced a general sense of well being after drinking it. I'd like to eventually not do dairy at all except for kephir but when the system is down, the right milk can correct so many ailments.
Good health to all!!!!
Here's a link to organic sheep yogurt, cheese etc. I think a slow transition from cow dairy to sheep or goat dairy is ideal.

This blog is just being updated... I am adding info as I remember it from all of the different health books I've read over the years. Information is all over the place right now... I will post a bulletin when my blogs are ready to be read.
Superfoods- The following listed are foods with therapeutic value, they increase longevity, build muscle tissue, burn fat... promote well being, healthy skin, sound sleep and many more...and you should notice your body reacting to them right away.
Organic raw colostrum Kephir
Organic wild blueberries- best source... frozen section Trader Joe's or any health food store
Organic raw chocolate powder-this food is a superantioxidant... best source http://www.rawfood.com/cgi-bin/order/index.cgi?id=231935184180&d=single&item_id=1004&m=home
Green tea-- organic Jasmine pearl by rishi
Yerba Matte, red tea, white tea.
Other things you should know
Fats/Oils
Go to your kitchen cabinet, if there's crisco, wesson or any vegetale oil other than organic cold pressed olive oil in there, pour it all out, throw it away, it's not food! Rinse out and recycle the container it was in. Those types of oils are not suitable for human consumption. Any oil that goes into your body should be... organic and cold pressed.
Some of the worst include Canola, safflower, soybean, corn oil, soybean oil, etc.
margarine, shortening or any man made fats are not food either...
Shine your car with them instead.
Butter on the other hand is actually healthy, make sure it's from grass fed animals like beef or goats. Avoid butter from non-certified organic sources... butter is mainly fat and animals and humans tend to store heavy metals and other bad stuff in their fats. Butter contains fat/soluble vitamins critical for your well-being.
Salt
if what you put in your foods is Norton, I have to tell you that's not salt!!!!! NOt only that but it's harming you.
REal Salt is critical to your well-being but Norton salt is not salt.
Norton salt or any other table salt should be used for cleaning your bathtub or washing your pots and pans. It should not go in your body.
Still you must eat salt... YOu need it to live,
REAL SEA SALT from the ocean. Real sea salt is tanned or darker in color. It's not this completely dry substance. It has 80 different minerals your body needs as opposed to 2 minerals in table salt.
Good sources of sea salt are Sel De Mer
Great link for sea salt

Meats.
Fish is your friend... especially wild caught atlantic salmon or other wild caught fish.
Why... omega 3 fatty acids... they keep you young, your skin supple, prevent premature aging, along with tons of other benefits scientist are learning about each day.
Fish raised in farms have high levels of hormones in them... in fact it's stated that pound per pound... farm raised salmon has more antibiotics than cattle. So avoid farm-raised salmon. Most of the salmon you order from your restaurant is probably farm raised and if you eat sushi, it's almost always farm-raised leaving you with a an invisible serving of hormones and antibiotics on your pretty sushi plate.
Do your best to Eat wild caught.... buy it from your local health food store. Wild caught atlantic salmon is usually deep red in color, due to enormous sources of beta-carotene. Farm raised salmon has to be fed supplements otherwise it's flesh would be white, in some cases, coloring is added to make farm raised salmon look pink.
Grass fed Bison and beef
When truly grass-fed, they are natural sources of omega-3 fats (essential fatty acid) and vitamins A, D and E. True vitamin A, or retinol, is only found in animal fats and organs like liver. On the other hand plants contain beta-carotene, a substance that the body can convert into vitamin A (retinol) if certain conditions are present. But some people have difficulty converting beta-carotene, especially those with thyroid problems. Beta-carotene is not true vitamin A...:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
These meats are an ideal source of taurine and carnitine, needed for healthy eyes and a healthy heart, and they contain coenzyme Q10, another key nutrient for the cardiovascular system. They are also an excellent source of minerals like magnesium and zinc.
All cattle are grass-fed to some small extent, but during the few months prior to being processed most cattle are fed grains in order to fatten them up. Feeding them grains seriously depletes the nutrients in the meat and also makes the animals sick, which requires high doses of antibiotics. The best sources of grass-fed meats are local farmers that practice organic farming and provide their animals with lots of room to free-range and forage on grass. Beef should be butchered in the fall after a summer of feeding on fresh grass.
oils/fats
Eat eggs!!!
More importantly organic omega 3 eggs.
You need omega 3 fatty acids.
eggs have B vitamins, vitamin A and vitamin E. In fact the only reliable and absorbable sources of vitamin B12 are from animal products, especially organ meats and eggs. Vitamin B12 is vital to a healthy nervous system and healthy blood and the one of the important nutrients lacking in vegetarian diets. I was vegan and prior to that vegetarian... been there done that. It's the most unhealthy regime you can undertake.
Don't eat soy or any soy derived products.
I was vegan and had no choice and developed digestive problems due to soy products like tofu.
Yuck... best source of protein is good animal protein , organic, free range, grass-fed and healthy of course.
Avoid all refined sugar, in all forms cookies, ice-cream, candy, doughnuts... don't eat it don't eat it don't eat it.
sugar is one of the worst for premature aging. I'll update more another day
