Def Leppard, one of a handful of select groups including The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd that have been awarded the R.I.A.A.’s prestigious Diamond Award more than once, today received three first round CMT Award nominations.

Def Leppard received two first round nominations for their performance of “Photograph” with Taylor Swift, from CMT Crossroads: Def Leppard and Taylor Swift; one for CMT Performance Of The Year and the other for Wide Open Country Video Of The Year. Their collaboration with Tim McGraw on “Nine Lives,” also received a nomination as the Wide Open Country Video Of The Year.

Fans are invited to cast their votes now, at http://www.cmt.com/cmt-music-awards, for the final four nominees in each category.

Members of the Def Leppard Fan Club will be able to buy presale tickets for the US shows on the 2009 tour before the general onsale date. In general, presales start two days before the public onsale date and usually last at least 36 hours (or until all presale tickets are sold out).

Fan Club presales will take place on the regular ticket selling sites (Ticketmaster, LiveNation) and are and are ONLY accessible to members of the Fan Club with a password. All members will be receiving their password by email. If you are not a member yet and you are thinking of signing up to get access to the presales, we recommend you join at least a day or two prior to the beginning of the presale to ensure you have access to the Def Leppard Fan Club Web site. The email with the password will be mailed out to everyone who is a member on Tuesday, March 3 at 6.00PM EST*. DEF LEPPARD ANNOUNCES 40-CITY TOUR WITH POISON & SPECIAL GUEST CHEAP TRICK


TICKETS FOR THE CONCERT EVENT OF THE SUMMER GO ON SALE BEGINNING MARCH 6TH

In what is sure to be the biggest rock event this summer, Britain's greatest arena rock band Def Leppard will join forces with Poison and special guest Cheap Trick for a 39-city North American Tour. Tickets go on-sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 6th at www.livenation.com. CHECK OUT MAN RAZE
When was the last time you discovered some really great music? If you haven't heard about Phil Collen's new band, Man Raze, you should check it out. Don't worry, Phil's not going anywhere. Man Raze is a band Phil formed when he returned to London in mid 2004 to care for his dying father. While there, he approached long time friend and Girl bass player, Simon Laffy, with songs he had been writing in addition to Def Leppard. Simon agreed to collaborate and the basis of the band was formed. Now with the legendary Sex Pistols' Paul Cook on drums, they're writing and recording some incredible music. Members of the Def Leppard Fan Club will get a first shot at these VIP packages for 24 hours, after which they will be available to the general public.

Members of the Def Leppard Fan Club will be able to buy presale tickets for many shows on the 2007 tour before the general onsale date. The next presale will take place between May 23 and May 25:
  • Sep 30: Calgary, AB (Pengrowth Saddledome)
    Fan Club presales start MAY 23, 10AM PDT
    presales end MAY 25, 3PM PDT
Def Leppard's Fan Club uses the ticket selling services of eTix.com to sell and ship fan club tickets. If you have any specific ticket questions, please call them at 1-919-782-5010 or email them at Support@Etix.com (please put your order number in the subject line, if applicable).
