Ja, gut. Diese Platte deren Veröfentlichung seit Äonen auf sich warten lässt, könnte man auch den Soundtrack unseres Lebens nennen, allein der Enstehungszeit wegen. Sei's drum.
Kommen wir zum Update, es hat sich ja wieder was getan. Und zwar haben wir die Bläseraufnahmen (Saxophon und Waldhorn-an dieser Stelle nochmal danke an Jens und Gerd!!) endlich durchführen und abschließen können. Es steht nun nur noch ein zweites Mal Cello und Geige an und einen Refrain, der mittlerweile zu großen Teilen geschrieben ist, muss noch von mir besungen werden. Und dann hätten wir den auch SCHON bezwungen (Was sagt die Schnecke auf der Schildkröte? :"Huuuuiiiiiiiiii!!!!").
Cover und Titel müssen noch abgesegnet werden, und....naja das bißchen Mixen *hust*...Ihr merkt schon die Platte ist schneller draußen, als Ihr "Sellout!" rufen könnt...(oder so...)
Baut so lange keine Scheisse...:-)

The record that still awaits its Coming out (yes, it is gay) could be named "The soundtrack of our lives" just because of the time it takes recording/producing it. Anyways...
Let's get to the update, shall we? The recording of the Saxophone and the French Horn is over with!!(Props go out to Jens and Gerd!!!) A cello and a violin have to be as well as vocals for one chorus have to be recorded.
Then the cover and the title and BAM! the record's gonna be out faster than you can say "Sellout!" (or something...)
In the meantime: Get a haircut and stay school!
Oh, before I foregt: Merry Christmas and all that...

Shalömchen,
morgen Kinder wird's was geben, zwar keine neue Cd, aber 'nen Akustik-Gig um die Wartezeit zu verkürzen. Wir spielen mit Tha Papapui, ist quasi das Jang zum Jin vom letztjährigen Akustik-Gig als Tha Papapui für uns eröffneten im Zimmer 16. Morgen gedenken wir die Sache in der Reihenfolge umzudrehen. Im Intersoup in der Schliemannstraße 31 im Prenzlauer Berg sind wir zu finden 20.30 soll's losgehen. Eintritt....tja weiss noch nich', wird aber bestimmt nicht allzu teuer.
Ich hoffe euch alle dort zu sehen, wir werden durchzählen und nicht anfangen bis nicht alle da sind:-)....naja schau mer mal...

wir sind immernoch schwer am arbeiten und das licht am ende des tunnels wird langsam sichtbar. viele songs befinden sich im finalen mixstadium, wir machen uns schwer n kopf um den titel der platte und probn fleissig (naja;)

es gibt uns auch auf lastfm, das komplette at the feelies kann auch kostenlos runtergeladen werden. und dann auch schon zu meinem anliegen:
wer einen lastfm account hat, hört uns doch mal n bisl bei lastfm, denn die ähnlichen künstler werden über den musikgeschmack der hörer entschieden.
da wir uns die seite mit einem electro-künstler teilen sind die ähnlichen artist fast alle electro. schafft abhilfe leute :)

so, ich werde mich mal wieder an die arbeit machen,denn das abmischen macht sich schließlich nicht von allein.

we're still working heavily but the light at the end of the tunnel is slowly getting visible.
many songs are almost mixed entirely, but we still have to come up with a brilliant title.

whoever of you has a lastfm-account, go listen to us there or even download the complete at the feelies if you feel like it. we share the artist's page with an electro artist, so our similar bands are not that similar... the similar artists are being generated by the listener's choise of music. so we need you guys :)

Seid gegrüßt,
so, der Ronn hat seine Pflicht erfüllt und es ihn erwartet ihn nur noch die Kür, soll heissen, kleine additive Bass-Spielereien, die er sich durch Wutausbrüche und konstante sowie penetrante Nervenzusammenbrüche bei uns erbettelt hat :-)
Die Suche nach einem Albumtitel spitzt sich auf's Heftigste zu- mittlerweile träume ich sogar von Titeln, naja, einer war es bisher, aber immerhin...trotzdem bravo.
Der letzte Hammervorschlag unsererseits war "the geil album" als Analogie zu unseren Musen zu dieser Platte, die auf den Namen "Bruce&Bongo" hören. (Check die mal auf youtube,wenn ihr nix zu tun habt, und wenn ihr schon dabei seid checkt auch Full Force "Love is for suckers" wir hatten viel Spaß)
Anfang April geht's an den Gesang...isch freue misch riesisch...

Greetings,
the bass recordings are bas(s)ically finished just a couple little details are to be played for the fun of it. We are still desperately seeking an album title, I even dreamt of one the other night (it was "Astaire" as in Fred Astaire, but that one's hardly gonna make it even though I like the sound and what the artists stands for).
In the first weeks of April we're gonna record vocals for all the tracks, I am really looking forward to it bigtime.

ein neuer Song hat sich seinen Weg zu youtube gebahnt..."a final giveaway" heisst er und wird auf der neuen cd zu finden sein, die youtube-version ist eine akustische variante des songs. Serviervorschlag: Bitte täglich nach jeder Mahlzeit einnehmen....

for everyone interested in this blog who'd rather read it in english(yes, all two of you:-), no babelfish this time...even though it was sort of fun...
Almost all of the guitars have been recorded by now and they sound really neat. We're very pleased about the recording so far... Two more songs need guitar and three more need bass. And then off to another fun part...the guest appearances, January 3rd we've had the pleasure to welcome a great beatboxing artist to enrich three of our songs, well, what can I say, he succeeded admirably. Next Saturday we'll record sitar with a friend of ours. Apart from that there's gonna be a small brass section, cello and violin, a mixed choir(well, Isa, you're gonna be a part of that choir/backing vocals, so you already know) such as a long expected duet with a good friend of ours...
It's all good...
