Current mood:  nauseated
I feel like everything in life is made to be “fit to print”. What I mean by that is even on liberal leaning shows, they don’t quite paint what is really going on. Everything is smoke and mirrors, but no one cares as long as the cover is glossy.

They’ll mention war, and question our reasons for them but they still won’t show real pictures or video of war. Not showing the realities of war is a not telling the truth. They’ll usually talk about man made climate change, but won’t really mention the true meaning and consequences of this, and that there hasn’t been one peer reviewed study showing that this isn’t a fact.

They’ll maybe note, and this is a stretch, that a certain animal is endangered but they won’t mention what that means to it’s ecosystem, scientific research and progress, it’s own survival and fate, and how our survival and lives are dependent on that animal’s fate. And just how awesome and vital every living thing is. They might talk about evolution but won’t quite grasp that it’s the fundamental basis of biology (and life!) and is proven just as much as the ‘theory of gravity.’

They paint sexual activities as the most immoral things a living human can do if they aren’t married; yet live the exact opposite way in their own lives. And le’ts not even mention that fact that is primarily a man’s desire and that women “don’t want it.” They preach virtue and only live in vices. Music has been turned into a business, and while it is the coolest thing ever, also has just been turn into a mindless ear distraction and full entertainment. They’ve turned acting into Hollywood Celebrity©, and etc, etc, etc, etc.

Everything important and worth talking about has been turned into a fringe topic, hobby, or interest; or made to look “evil”, weird, immature, or something “you just don’t talk about”. Or that they just miss the entire god damn point of every single thing in the world.

"I'm alive in a city of dead people rising for work
And as they ride through the cycle, the machine revving up,
I feel a little s u i c i d a l, just not high enough to jump..."

Catatonic eyes
...and arms, and legs, and hearts, and brains, and ideas, and standards

doing the same thing. the same thing, the same thing, the same thing, the same thing, the same thing, the same thing every second, of every single day.

The machines are so loud. I can't hear the birds anymore, or maybe they have all perished from the fumes, or from the city lights hypnotizing them.
Everything is so god damn loud but it just sounds like static to me.
You know I read a study once that said our brains arent made for modern life, I dont know if that is true but I know that sometimes I feel so helpless.

Being home is wonderous but sometimes I just lay here and think.
We are fed an overflow of stupid, vapid, and down right trivial ideals. When you are led by liars, who are feeding you lies, you get everyone believing in the lie and then the next 200 years are shaped by that lie, or makeshift solutions.
You all make me f e e l . . . . . . . . . .

.

.....

"She told me everything is gonna be alright, it's been a long night.
Everything is gonna be just find.

It's daylight in the city, just hold me.
She said, it's been a long night in the city,
Just hold me, hold me."

It's been a long night in the city
Just hold, hold me

It's been a long night in the city
Just hold me, hold me"

I traveled alot in 2008.

I went on road trips to Michigan to see Mr. Ron Burgandy, Nashville a few times, Columbia and Springfield, MO a few times.

Road Trips are my favorite!

I frickin went to Paris. An amazing trip that is always on my mind with lots of memories. It was a lovely picturesque city and I highly enjoyed it. Some of the best times were just sitting down eating (mostly pizza cause I'm really picky and annoying) and soaking up the culture and having conversation. Good times

Current mood:  high
I cant help but feel saddened after I see family, friends or just random strangers. It seems that most people have lost something, have lost their youth and happiness. No hobbies, no passions, no real purpose. And even though its not always apparent, I can see it. I can see the anger in your eyes. I can the jealousy, and I can see the longing, I can see the hurt, and I can see the child, the wild animal, wanting to come out. "Wash off your handcuffs"

"A piece of glass in the sand under your feet
It cuts you deep and makes you hate the beauty that you see
And you wonder where you are, how you ever got so far
Now you question what went wrong…it's your heart

It's raining again
There's a dark cloud over your head
It follows you 'round, it's bringing you down
It's raining, it's raining again

A wilted rose in your bouquet is all you see
You buy the flaws and miss the beauty that is yours for FREE
Realize you are so far from the things that matter now
And you only wonder how…it's your heart" - Staind

You have a central nervous system, a brain for a reason.
Enjoy this while you can, it is truly amazing and wonderful. Just look above you everytime you step outside. When your driving, look at those fluffy wonders and that big huge ball of sunshine that never fails to work. We are part of nature and it isnt a coincidence that scientific studies show that happier people are outside more and are in touch with nature. We are nature and not machines. We are animals. You dig? I dig.

Here's to being untangled in the next year.
Here's to rediscovering whatever it is your little person in your head and heart needs you to.
But what do I know, maybe you are happy the way you are.
Thats all I hope for truly. Be happy.

-Cheers, Patrick.

A Sight To Behold - Gojira

"Reflecting ourselves in the blood of all the beings we slay
Misunderstand each other, out of control we remain
There is a mystery, we're facing a sight to behold
This is what we make of the world...
We throw everything away

The way we all behave is not understandable
It is so sad to see the wealth of our planet fade away
We all behave like children, taking off the head of our teddy bear to see what's inside, taking, not giving back

We drain the oceans and suck all the blood out of the soil
We spend the time we have left fighting
and killing each other
Lust for comfort
Entertainment becomes an obsession
And there is so much time to kill

The way I see things is so simple
The fact I'm walking, standing on this land
Exhausted is the realm of nature, friends are dying
The living creatures on our side
The way I see myself so confused, so sophisticated
I have to stay away from me
But I still don't get the point
What's worth destroying all the worlds?
Try not to get it anymore

You burn yourself, set fire for good
We die eyes closed, dig our own grave now
Tossed in the blaze naked on the flame
Lost with no pride, drowned in the filth
The giant snake is coming down to eat our heads
and the flood will kill us, Mantus is rising from under

try not to get it anymore...
try not to get it anymore...
try not to get it anymore...
try not to get it anymore..."

Current mood:  impressed
Patrick uses judgment to make decisions. He is ruled by his head, not his heart. He is a cool, collected person who is usually unexpressive emotionally. Some may see him as unemotional. He does have emotions but has no need to express them. He is withdrawn into himself and enjoys being alone.
The circumstances when Patrick does express emotions include: extreme anger, extreme passion, and tremendous stress. If someone gets him mad enough to tell him off, he will not be sorry about it later. He puts a mark in his mind when someone angers him. He keeps track of these marks and when he hits that last mark he will let them know they have gone too far. (oops) He is ruled somewhat by self-interest. All his conclusions are made without outside emotional influence. He is very level-headed and will remain calm in an emergency situation. In a situation where other people might get hysterical, he has poise.
Patrick will work more efficiently if given space and time to be alone. He would rather not be surrounded by people constantly. In a relationship, he will show his love by the things he does rather than by the things he says. Saying "I love you" is not a needed routine because he feels his mate should already know. The only exception to this is if he has logically concluded that it is best for his mate to hear him express his love verbally.
Patrick is not subject to emotional appeals. If someone is selling a product to him, they will need to present only the facts. They should present them from a standpoint of his sound judgment. He will not be taken in by an emotional story about someone else. He will meet emergencies without getting hysterical and he will always ask "Is this best for me?"

People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, Patrick doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.

Patrick is talkative. He enjoys talking and socializing. He may talk when there is absolutely nothing important to say. He enjoys speaking.

According to the inputted data, Patrick has a stinger shape inside the oval of his a, d, or c. This might be hard to visualize, but if this little hooklike shape is present, then Patrick has an unresolved "issue" with strong members of the opposite gender. An occasional appearance of this stroke could indicate a simple "loves a mental challenge" which can manifest in playful linguistic conversations and being attracted to a lover who isn't always available. However, if the stroke is severe, this means the individual has unresolved anger at the oppostive gender - which usually started with the person's childhood relationship with the opposite gender parent (Mom or Dad). If the writer is a woman she will be attracted to strong challenging men. If the writer is a man, he will find the woman who is "hard to get" the most attractive. In a nutshell, people with stingers in their writing tend to have challenges in their romantic relationships.
Remember, it is only negative if the traits occurs often and is quite pronounced. An occasional stinger can be no problem. (sometimes i have one, sometimes i dont)

Patrick has an over-awareness of self. He often feels self-conscious. He fears ridicule, therefore he is careful not to place himself in a position to receive any ridicule. He wonders what people will think if he acts in a certain manner. When encountering a new group of people, Patrick may stay on the sidelines until he has the people categorized, or he may behave in a "positive attention getting" manner to assure people think good thoughts about him from the start.
In the sales profession, this self-consciousness is called "call reluctance". They take the word "no" as a personal criticism. Therefore, there is an internal struggle when performing this type of work. Although this person may be a great salesperson, he still feels insecurity. He will perform better if someone else is with him because the fear of ridicule from his peers is far greater than the fear of ridicule from his clients. Many times this type of person becomes a sales trainer, because when he is training, he doesn't have to put hisself in a position of being told "no" as often as the salesmen

In reference to Patrick's mental abilities, he has a very investigating and creating mind. He investigates projects rapidly because he is curious about many things. He gets involved in many projects that seem good at the beginning, but he soon must slow down and look at all the angles. He probably gets too many things going at once. When Patrick slows down, then he becomes more creative than before. Since it takes time to be creative, he must slow down to do it. He then decides what projects he has time to finish. Thus he finishes at a slower pace than when he started the project

He has the best of two kinds of minds (lol...just feels nice to read...jk)
. One is the quick investigating mind. The other is the creative mind. His mind thinks quick and rapidly in the investigative mode. He can learn quicker, investigate more, and think faster. Patrick can then switch into his low gear. When he is in the slower mode, he can be creative, remember longer and stack facts in a logical manner. He is more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip.

Patrick is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. He needs to visualize the end of a project before he starts. he finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said he plans everything he is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Patrick basically feels good about himself. He has a positive self-esteem which contributes to his success. He feels he has the ability to achieve anything he sets his mind to. However, he sets his goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". He has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, he will not take great risks, as they relate to his goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, his self-perception is better than average.

Patrick is sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect his ego when he feels hurt. He pokes people harder than he gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.

Patrick has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. He lets new people into his circle of friends. He uses his imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.

For a graphologist, the spacing on the page reflects the writer's attitude toward their own world and relationship to things in his or her own space. If the inputted data was correct Patrick has no white space or margins on a typical sheet of paper. Patrick fills up every last inch on the top, right, left, and bottom. Hmmm. If this is true, then Patrick has a very aggressive personality toward others and quite frankly lacks a bit of respect for the space and property of other people. I would be surprised if Patrick just comes into someone's home and helps himself to a drink in the refrigerator. This can be both an obnoxious personality trait and it can be assertive and effective in getting what you want. There isn't much fear of getting in trouble here, Patrick finds plenty of reasons to break the rules and get in trouble. (Okay, perhaps when he was younger, not anymore?) Basically, people with no margins are a handful. (that last line kind just hits the nail on the head)

"People with no margins are a handful"
....ahhh...that was fun and interesting

-Peace!
