We usually start the shows at 9:00 with 3 or 4 bands playing 45 minutes to an hour. We try to open at 6:00, but 7:00 is more likely. Load in and sound check between 6:00 and 9:00. Sound checks are not necessary here though. We usually have a $5 cover with a $80 production fee to cover the sound guy/door guy/security. The bands split the rest however it seems best.
We don't ever have a band play for the whole night unless they can bring out 80 to 100 people.
We have one of the best Sound systems; QSC powered mains, 4 monitor mixes, Allen and Heath MixWiz3,and all the mics, stands, and cables you need.
If I book a band I would like them to add the other acts to fill the night. That way everyone knows each other before they walk in here and it's more of a party atmosphere.
We are 21+ No exceptions.
Sound Good?
