So I had an idea, and it's aimed at the bored people with digital cameras and too much time on their hands.

It started w hen I realized our picture albums are sorely lacking in updated new stuff, so in a fit of genius and laziness, I invented the

County Line Shout Out Picture Contest!

It's really easy to enter, and you can enter as many times as you want. Simply take a picture of yourself, (or have someone else do it) holding up a sign that says "I Love County Line" or I "less than three" <3 CL or anything like that, send it to me, and the top 4 pictures every week will get to be on the County Line Top Friends for a week.

All pictures will get added to an album, and if it's really good, maybe on the website.

A few basic rules

1. Make sure the sign says the words "County Line"

2. No nudity, or breaking the law.

3. Stay safe

Otherwise, go nuts, if you can get a picture some place cool, like inside a jail cell, on top of Water Tower (because you work for the city or water company, not because you got drunk and climbed it on your own)

Ladies, don't under estimate the power of provocative poses with your signs, hell, you can write your sign on part of your body if you want! As long as there is no nipplage or lippage, I'll put it on the net!

I am the sole judge, and this may end at any time, so get to clickin'!

send pictures to jamie @ djjamie.com

include in your email your myspace address, like

myspace.com/oldskooldj

so I know who to add to top friends.

Later peepz, see ya at Howl at the Moon!

I hope you all got the mud out of your hair after last nights Mud Boggs...

Onto the news.

This Profile was deleted for several hours, I don't know why, I've emailed myspace to ask, but haven't received a reply yet. We'll see. It's just one more reason to check the website, www.countylinefl.com and not just rely on the myspace!!!

The Zap Squad visited County Line Last Thursday. I'm a little ticked off. They basically said that the Country Music before Midnight was just a warm up for the after Midnight stuff. That "the dance music after midnight seemed to bring everyone to the floor"

Well if you look at the pictures on the website, all the people on the dance floor seem to be Line Dancing!

alright, I'm done venting now.

The County Line Kickers, our very own Dance Team is being re-brought-back-into-existence by Patrick. If you would like to join the team, please be at the Orientation Meeting on August 8th, at 6PM. I'm told this is mandatory!

Jamaikin Me Crazy is going on as I write this, It's going to be there every Sunday, at 3 PM.
I am sorry that the flyer was taken down, but it will remain on the events page, and in the calendar until the event really is over.

Alright, I need some breakfast, I'll blog you all later

I almost forgot!!!!!!

The following was posted on Craigslist in the "women 4 men missed connections" section.

This is pretty hard to admit, but on sat night at the county line, i got really drunk and ended up hooking up with someone in the parking lot. I dont remember much about it, but i remember doing some "stuff" in your car. I dont remember your name or number or even much about what you look like lol, its all really blurry to me. so refreshing my memory would help. Please only real response wanted. Be nice to know what happened and stuff, and maybe we can talk some more. :-)

So there you go, if you think you're the guy she's talking about, email her at
pers-z2ckd-1236614035@craigslist.org

You should probably include a picture, since she'll be getting tons of emails from guys who figure, "hey, drunk slutty chick that puts out, I'll tell her it was me"

LOL

Someone has decided to create a twitter account in our name, only thing is, it's not anyone associated with County Line.

They have emailed a few of the employees, and we have to assume they will attempt to contact customers as well.

If and when we decide to start using twitter, we will have a link on our regular website,

http://www.countylinefl.com

and of course the countyline myspace page.

Don't worry too much about it, probably some kid with nothing better to do...just clearing the cyber-air.

I don't want to repeat the entire calendar here, that's what the website is for. If you haven't seen it yet, the site is www.countylinefl.com

First and foremost, Mud Boggs have been pushed back to May 30th!! Spread the word!

We have a new Dance Instructor, Kera, who has taken over on Thursday Nights for Couples Dance Lessons. She's fun, with a lot of energy, and everyone is having a good time. There are also some new, younger faces coming on Thursdays, so if you haven't been to Dance Lessons in a while, this may be the time to try again.

Tickets are still available for Eric Church, but you're running out of time. Eric Will be at the Line on Saturday May 16th. Eric sings hits like "Guys Like Me", "Two Pink Lines", and "Love Your Love The Most" is climbing the charts right now. I've never seen him Live, but he is blowing up all over myspace and the web, so I'm betting it's a good show.

To get away from music for a bit, we're very happy to have Girls Gone Wild back on May 21st, but the big news is the Friday Night Fights!

May 29th is the first night of MMA full contact action, right in the middle of County Line! You can get close and smell the sweat, or watch from the bar with a cold one. I plan on watching from my own personal skybox...

We have invited some new bands as well, Grindstone is a great Rock Band, they'll be at the Line on Friday the 8th. Chain Reaction is a cover band that plays a lot of oldies but with a great evergy and really tight sound. Chain Reaction plays on Friday the 22nd.

Steve Robinson is celebrating his Birthday in style, and doing it at the County Line. He's bringing a Rush Tribute Band with him, as well as DJ Mac Daddy, so come out for a great birthday bash (who cares if you know him? Didn't you see Wedding Crashers?) There's going to be free food, and according to some rumors, the first drink is on Steve!

Now if you've been to the bar in the last couple of weeks, you've noticed the huge sign for Howl at the Moon, on June 5th.

A bunch of you have told me you have no idea what it is all about, and some of you think the idea of a piano show is, well, lame. Nothing can be further from the truth. These guys play piano, but the music is all upbeat, and they are really interactive, it's like a comedy act that happens to include pianos, and oh yeah, they like drinking songs a lot. A LOT. A LOT!

So that's all I've got for you for now, keep checking back for more info, and don't forget to check the website out. I designed it myself, so I'm looking for attaboys and compliments to feed my ever growing ego.

Don't forget to come see me on Tuesday for Karaoke,
DJ Jamie
