I don't want to repeat the entire calendar here, that's what the website is for. If you haven't seen it yet, the site is
www.countylinefl.comFirst and foremost, Mud Boggs have been pushed back to May 30th!! Spread the word!
We have a
new Dance Instructor, Kera, who has taken over on Thursday Nights for Couples Dance Lessons. She's fun, with a lot of energy, and everyone is having a good time. There are also some new, younger faces coming on Thursdays, so if you haven't been to Dance Lessons in a while, this may be the time to try again.
Tickets are still available for Eric Church, but you're running out of time. Eric Will be at the Line on Saturday May 16th. Eric sings hits like "Guys Like Me", "Two Pink Lines", and "Love Your Love The Most" is climbing the charts right now. I've never seen him Live, but he is blowing up all over myspace and the web, so I'm betting it's a good show.
To get away from music for a bit, we're very happy to have
Girls Gone Wild back on May 21st, but the big news is the
Friday Night Fights! May 29th is the first night of
MMA full contact action, right in the middle of County Line! You can get close and smell the sweat, or watch from the bar with a cold one. I plan on watching from my own personal skybox...
We have invited some new bands as well,
Grindstone is a great Rock Band, they'll be at the Line on Friday the 8th.
Chain Reaction is a cover band that plays a lot of oldies but with a great evergy and really tight sound. Chain Reaction plays on Friday the 22nd.
Steve Robinson is celebrating his Birthday in style, and doing it at the County Line. He's bringing a Rush Tribute Band with him, as well as DJ Mac Daddy, so come out for a great birthday bash (who cares if you know him? Didn't you see Wedding Crashers?) There's going to be free food, and according to some rumors, the first drink is on Steve!
Now if you've been to the bar in the last couple of weeks, you've noticed the huge sign for
Howl at the Moon, on June 5th.A bunch of you have told me you have no idea what it is all about, and some of you think the idea of a piano show is, well, lame. Nothing can be further from the truth. These guys play piano, but the music is all upbeat, and they are really interactive, it's like a comedy act that happens to include pianos, and oh yeah, they like drinking songs a lot. A LOT.
A LOT!So that's all I've got for you for now, keep checking back for more info, and don't forget to check the website out. I designed it myself, so I'm looking for attaboys and compliments to feed my ever growing ego.
Don't forget to come see me on Tuesday for Karaoke,
DJ Jamie
