Woooooaaaah.

So the show is finally on the road.  Texas was a good start.  Actually we were just a little disappointed with the turnout in Texas.  We had two really nice shows and the audiences were really into the show, but Texas will have to come out in more numbers next time.

We drove from Houston to Baltimore last week.  Spent the night in Atlanta.  We got the tourbus on Saturday and we've been on the road.  For Imorly and Tasha this is their first tour bus experience and they're loving it.

Nantucket was great on Monday night!  Next time we'll have to get a  Friday, Saturday or Sunday gig.  Who the hell is booking this stuff anyway?  Just kidding Mark.  Mark Massey is handling the booking and doing a great job.

BB King's is on Wednesday night and  this should be big for us.  Its a nice showcase.  Come out if you can.

If you can't come to the shows get over to http://store.bankiebanx.net and get the T-Shirt.  The design is real edgy.  We also two new T-Shirt designs that you can only get at the shows.

This tour is really opening some doors for us and if you'd like to be part of the movement that we're starting please get on board.  We've got a new album coming out later this year and we're hoping this catapults the music to a different level.  This year and last year have been great so far especially with the feature on the Jimmy Buffett album, but we can' stop.  This is 33 years in the making.

Share the music with all your friends.  No really!  Everyone who likes the same music you like introduce them to it.

Hey - see you on the road.  When you come to the shows.  Stop by and say hi after the performances.

We had a great weekend with three gigs in a span of 24 hours.  Saturday we played at Columbus Park in Stamford and then on Sunday we played Cyril's Kitchen on Sunday in Long Island.  Both events were great and the fan response was outstanding.

Everybody got a kick out of Corey playing the guitar Jimmy Hendricks style behind his head.

We're also happy that Cyril is doing fine.  He gave us a scare just before the band went on stage.  He was having what turned out to be a mild heart attack.  He was adamant about the show going on that's what we did. Everyone had fun and Cyril is doing well at home.

That same Sunday night we also did an impromptu gig at Stephen Talkhouse in Long Island and they booked us for Tuesday night 8/28.  Things are going great and we'll have great video after its all said and done.

Keep our friends in Jamaica in your prayers.  Spoke with our brother Benjy Myaz on Wednesday and he's doing well, but like many people he suffered some property damage.  Other reports have been the same in terms of good health, but property damages.

Helps to keep things in perspective!  Stay up.

Much respect to Mark Massey our guy in Shelter island who really went out of his way to organize the show at the Pridwin.  The turnout was great, and as I post Bankie, Corey and Johnny are still hanging out with a lot of the folks who came out to the show.  Who said that folks in the Hamptons are stuffy!

Big shout out to our great friend Bo who came in with a large group from NYC and sorry that Justine couldn't make it up from Charlotte in time for the show.

Next stop Columbus Park - Stamford, CT on Saturday and then Cyril's Kitchen on Sunday.

Thanks to Leighton, Bulldog, Skip Dixxon, Amy, Gary, Buddy, Mark and everyone at Seacrets for a great weekend.  They took great care of Bankie, Corey and of Course Johnny Danger.

Thanks to the Parrotheads and the Aliens from the Planet Dune for showing up and showing out.  Great energy and lots of love.  The show is now on the road and if you can believe it the guys will be packing up in an RV and going from city to city, town to town.  See you all at The Pridwin in Shelter Island.
