Hey fellow Rockers! I just wanted to share with you all an awesome review that I just received from "Powerplay Magazine"! The issue is No. 112 and the review is printed below. To finish things off for this month I’d like you to cast your mind back to last year and a rather impressive demo from Jennifer Rose (c’mon, admit it, you remember the picture if nothing else). Well, she’s back and back with a very impressive debut album called "Alone & Unsupervised". If ever Debbie Harry got into bed with Lemmy (hey, they’re of a similar age, stranger things have happened) then lil’ Jen would be their bitchin’ offspring. This girl was born to rock and this album is the livin’ proof. Songwise, it’s comparable to the likes of Lita Ford or Pat Benatar but better than anything that these two ever recorded in the last fifteen years. It’s intelligent hard rock that never takes itself too seriously. I loved this album and you can check it out at www.JenniferRoseRocks.comIf anyone is interested in checking it out you can go to: You can also purchase the magazine at: POWERPLAY MAGAZINE, PO BOX 227, MANCHESTER M224YT, ENGLAND UK. The prices are as follows; UK £4.00 each, Europe £5.00 each and Elsewhere £6.00 each. All prices include P&P. To arrange payment please contact Mark Hoaksey on powerplaymagazine@btinternet.comThanks for Rockin' with me and for reading my review! xo Jennifer Rose

Got in contact with Jennifer Rose some weeks ago after I found her Myspace site. Her debut album Alone & Unsupervised is really a great rock album, and its not everyday female rock artists of this caliber shows up and impress me like this! Musically this is a mix of Hard Rock, Classic Rock and Glam Rock with a lot of energy and power from Jennifer Rose! I have missed a rocking girl like this, and have to go back many years in my record collection to find such a great album like this! The album kicks off with Fire Me Up, and from this moment its just to enjoy some really great addictive, rememberable hard rocking songs of the finest mark! Fire Me Up! opens with some cool riffing guitars and drums followed with the fine vocals from Jennifer. The song really crackles with real life in the chorus parts and I also like the guitar solo and the energy and power is just fantastic! Shut Up And Kiss Me has a cool rhythm with the riffing guitars and punching drums. Jennifer has the exact right rocking touch in her voice that take the songs to a high level. Toe 2 Toe sounds very classic rock oriented, the Ac/Dc like riffs on the guitars and the Aerosmith/ bad Company like melody is just fabulous. Sweet Crush sounds a bit different than the previous songs, the a bit funky styled riff in the start, and the blues styled singing the first lines give the album a cool mood. This song gets a rockier style throughout, and this song grow for each time I hear it! With Bad, Bad Cowboy we are back to a great driving rock song with lots of energy, the melody and chorus is rememberable, and this is a song you will play again and again! Rock..n Roll Lover is a real beauty of a song! A rock ballad with a cool melody and fine chorus parts. The vocals from Jennifer is just awesome in this and really show the strength in her voice. I Go A Little Mental is my absolute favorite on the album, a more metal oriented styled song, the heavy powerful guitars, the melody and choruses is just fantastic with energetic vocals! Full Throttle speaks for it self, a great rocker and the chorus will get stuck in your head after a few rounds in the player. The instrumentation has the exact right style that give the songs the cool rocking style that this album have! Repeat Offender sounds a bit different than the other songs, I like the rhythm this song has and this grow for each time I hear it! One Last Kiss ends the album, a really fine rocking ballad with a huge melody and rememberable chorus parts. The song changes throughout with more tempo in the instrumental part at the end. As I said in the beginning of this review, I really have to dig deep in my record collection to find such a great rock girl like this, so check out Jennifer Rose now!!!!

Hey, Rock "N Roll Lovers! ;) I wanted to share my latest Review with you all! Click the link to go to Rock Report Belgium, or just read below. Wishing you all a very Rockin' and fun 4th of July!!!! xo Jennifer Rose http://www.rockreport.be/review.asp?id=2460When I put Ms. Rose's record in my player for the first time my immediate thoughts were quite simple & straightforward: another gal going the path of the rock-chick, a blending of Blondie's mainstream capabilities & the hard rocking side of Pink. After a few spins however I discovered there was more than met my eye on that initial encounter. Which is already more than a handful, by the way. Ms. Rose is rocking slightly harder than the competition. Just put on 'Toe 2 Toe', an AC/DC-styled rocker with a voice heavily reminiscent of a young Pat Benatar and you'll understand perfectly what I'm getting at here. Or listen to 'I Go A Little Mental' where the relentless rocking is putting most of her male counterparts to full-on shame. I'm glad to say that Jennifer Rose provided us with a very refreshing, hard hittin' release in an otherwise very dull musical year. Check this! ( KVK)

By Rob Evans, Power Play Magazine I'm going to start the month with a bang (I should be so lucky). All of you people that have been starved of some good, honest, Female fronted hard rock can look no further than America's Jennifer Rose. This peroxide powerhouse has come out fighting with a very impressive four-track demo that will evoke memories of Joan Jett, Lita Ford and Pat Benatar. She should also appeal to the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Pink's audience as she has a similar tempo, only with a heavier delivery. She looks good, she's got memorable songs and she rocks. What more could you ask for? Her phone number, maybe? I like this chick. The music industry needs more like her. She has her debut album out very soon and this is what she had to say for herself recently…. see the rest of the interview at the following link...
