We'd again like to congratulate all of our members who earned awards this past trimester. You all did an awesome job. Here's a list of those winners:
Most Outstanding Community Impact Project - River Run - Chairman Laura Sudduth (This project was a poker run on the river. Money was donated to the Indian Summer Camp, a camp for children with cancer. Our partner for this project was the Frankfort Boat Club.)
Most Outstanding Individual Impact Project - Who's on First? What's on Second? HUH??? - Chairman Angelia Hawkins (This project was a free training/seminar for those wanting to learn how to keep scorebooks at softball games.)
Region 3 Jaycee of the Trimester - Andrea Burton (an award given to the best Jaycee in our region - based on participation, effort, etc.)
Jaycee of the Trimester - Molly Rice (an award given to the best Jaycee in the state - based on participation, effort, etc.)
Outstanding Management Vice-President - Molly Rice
Outstanding Local President - Angelia Hawkins
Outstanding State Program Manager - Laura Sudduth (for the Outstanding Young Farmer program)
Outstanding Region Director - Dawn Woods
Local Road Runner - Dawn Woods (given to the local member who does the most traveling to visit other Jaycee chapters)
Thoroughbred Award - Dawn Woods (highest honor awarded by the Kentucky Jaycees, for outstanding service to the organization)
Recruiter Awards: Molly Rice, Laura Sudduth, Jake Larson, Brian Sudduth (given to those who have shared their Jaycees experience with others and brought them into the group)
The top ten projects from across the state are chosen by the state board members. Frankfort had the following three projects in the parade:

8 Parade of Projects - Franklin County Relay for Life - Chairmen Andrea Burton and Molly Rice
10 Parade of Projects - Who's on First? What's on Second? HUH??? - Chairman Angelia Hawkins
The Frankfort Chapter also was recognized for Outstanding Membership Programming for recruitment and retention.
We were also named the 1 Chapter in Kentucky!!!
