GRAYS HARBOR ROCKTOBERFEST RETURNS  

7^th ANNUAL EVENT FEATURES TEN BANDS

Aberdeen based band JED to headline and joined by nine additional bands at Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest on Saturday Oct. 25, 2008 at the Aberdeen Eagles. 

Oct. 3, 2008 Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest, an annual all ages rock concert in its 7^th year of production will be featuring Ten original bands from the western region.

Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest will be held at the Aberdeen Eagles Club, 200 W Market Street.  Advance tickets are $10.00 and $8.00 with student ID and $12.00 at the door, which opens at 5:00 PM and show time is 6:00 PM until 1:00 AM. The concert is open to all ages, with a separate bar for guests over 21, upon arrival at ticketing; wrist bands are issued to all ticket holders to signify under age and 21+. 

As an all ages concert, Rocktoberfest has established a reputation as for a safe, organized concert due to careful planning, security, quality sound production and some of the finest Western regional bands.  The concert will feature: Aberdeen based rock band JED performing their final show before a long hiatus, www.jedband.com and www.myspace.comein,  ) JED will be joined by long time harbor favorite from Eugene, Oregon  Blunt Point (formerly Moth)  Juda's Wake returning to the harbor after 3 years. www.myspace.com/judaswake Wide Eye Panic, www.myspace.com/wideeyepanic, with roots in Aberdeen but now Olympia based.  Swamp Creek, from Everett and featuring lead vocalist Ryan Shoalwater of the now defunct band Healer and a contributing vocalist on JED's 2006 release Synesthesia. www.myspace.com/swampcreek.    Aberdeen based Gebular  www.myspace.com/gebularmusic     and Golfed Static www.myspace.com/godfedstatic  will be joined by Tsavo with band members fromRaymond www.myspace.com/tsavomusic.  Local favorites Rebel Skum will open the show, www.myspace.com/rebelskum  along with Power Bomb the Wolf, www.myspace.com/powerbombthewolf.

Grays Harbor Rocktoberfest is presented by Carnelian Agency and is made possible due to generous sponsorship.  This year's sponsors include Johnny Manson and 105.7 The Jet, Les Blue's Music Company, Stiffy's Pub, Tom Cat Tattoo , First Act Guitars and N-Tune.  Seattle based N-Tune; www.ntune.com will be hosting a merchant booth and donating products for our popular prize raffle.  Sound production will be by harborite Steve Jenkins of Living Proof Productions. 

This year's Rocktoberfest will be also be a Rock fair with great merchandise and prizes offered to all concert attendees. The first 30 people through the door will receive CDs and DVDs; we will also have Rocktoberfest buttons, stickers, posters and T-shirts. Performing bands will be hosting tables to sell their CDs and merchandise.   There will be raffle tickets and several prizes awarded by drawings throughout the night.   Prizes include items donated by the bands such as T-shirts and CDs, a First Act Guitar, N-Tune is donating a couple Guitar tuning packages, Carnelian Agency is donating a CD Duplication package.   The first 75 people to arrive at the concert will receive a free JED DVD or CD.   

Tickets are on sale now and will be available at Les Blue's, Tom Cat Tattoo, Stiffy's, and from local band members, you can also order on line, at www.myspace.com/ghrocktoberfest or call Carnelian Agency at 360.752.9829 to order ticket's securely by phone, with same day mailing.  All ticket orders placed direct through Carnelian agency will receive free prizes in the mail.
